The ruleset for this week's challenge

image.png

  • Earthquake - All non-flying units take 2 physical damage at the end of every turn

The ruleset that I managed to get

image.png

  • Rulesets - Blood and Sunder & Earthquake
  • Mana Cap - 21
  • Active Elements - image.png image.png image.png image.png

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Brighton Bloom

  • With this weeks challenge the best summoner you could possible go with is Brighton Bloom
  • Brighton Bloom grants Flying to all of your monster
1st Position: Flesh Golem

  • Flesh Golem was my main tank for this battle
  • Main reason I like Flesh Golem here a lot is his Heal ability
  • Heal - Restores a third of the max health to this Unit's health each round
2nd Position: Twilight Basilisk

  • Twilight Basilisk in the second position because of his Reach
  • Reach - Melee attack Units with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team
3rd Position: Furious Chicken

  • Nothing really to say here other than way not play Furious Chicken he costs 0 mana
4th Position: Fungus Fiend

  • And my second 0 mana monster because the mana cap was too small to play full team
  • The same applies as the last one why not play him if you have 0 mana and room for him
5th Position: Uraeus

  • Love this card so much because of how many stats you get for low mana
  • For 3 mana you get 2 melee damage (with Sneak), 2 speed, 1 armor and 2 hp
  • Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit
6th Position: Wood Nymph

  • Wood Nymph was my only healer
  • Paired with my Flesh Golem Heal I was hoping my first monster would be unkillable
  • Tank Heal - Restores a third of max health to the Unit in the first position each round

Starting board

image.png

  • The starting board looked quite scary but I was almost certain that I would win
  • The only thing that scared me was the Fungus Flinger in the back
  • If he would have been in the 1st position I would have been 100% sure that I would lose
  • But this board was looking quite promising so lets start the battle and have a look

image.png

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

image.png

  • 1st Round was quite okei for me as I managed to miss my single attack to his Fungus Flinger and now he was going to die after his Quora Towershead had already attacked
  • Also I was chipping away his Quora Towershead quite decently already
2nd Round

image.png

  • After 2nd Round my enemies Fungus Flinger had fallen and buffed his Quora Towershead
  • But I was completely onboard with that as he was quite low and now I had my Uraeus also target his Quora Towershead
  • So this was the round were I was 100% sure I was going to win
3rd Round

image.png

  • In the 3rd Round I managed to take 1 hp from his Quora Towershead
  • I managed to miss 2 attacks but if I was going to hit all of my attacks in the next Round the battle would be over
4th Round

Summary

  • This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
  • I believe the battle came down to his poor positioning
  • If his Fungus Flinger Would've been in the front I probably would've lost
  • If you also would like to hop on the Splinterlands train feel free to use my Referral
