The ruleset for this week's challenge

image.png

  • Earthquake - All non-flying units take 2 physical damage at the end of every turn

The ruleset that I managed to get

image.png

  • Rulesets - Earthquake & Even Stevens
  • Mana Cap - 12
  • Active Elements - image.png image.png image.png image.png image.png

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Brighton Bloom

  • With this weeks challenge the best summoner you could possible go with is Brighton Bloom
  • Brighton Bloom grants Flying to all of your monster
1st Position: Flesh Golem

  • Flesh Golem was my main tank for this battle
  • Main reason I like Flesh Golem here a lot is his Heal ability
  • Heal - Restores a third of the max health to this Unit's health each round
2nd Position: Furious Chicken

  • Nothing really to say here other than way not play Furious Chicken he costs 0 mana
3rd Position: Fungus Fiend

  • And my second 0 mana monster because the mana cap was too small to play full team
The same applies as the last one why not play him if you have 0 mana and room for him
4th Position: Naga Assassin

  • For last but not least is this high speed ranger monster
  • For two mana she is a great backline monster because of her speed

Starting board

image.png

  • Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because I had Heal
  • Even tho my enemy will do 4 damage to my Flesh Golem in the beginning and he only heals 3 with two rounds of Earthquake damage his ranger monster would die and my enemy would beleft with 3 damage per round which I fully heal
  • But lets have a look did the battle go as planed

image.png

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

image.png

  • After 1st Round the board looked quite the same as in the beginning
  • But now after my enemies armor was down it was straight to the health
2nd Round

image.png

  • After 2nd Round my board still looked the same because of my Flying and Heal
  • On the other hand my enemies tank was already quite low and his ranger monster was about to die to the Earthquake damage in the start of the next round
3rd Round

image.png

  • In the 3rd Round my enemies Xenith Archer died to Earthquake damage and his Gargoya Lion was left with 1 hp
  • Now I just needed to take the last hp and the victory would be mine
4th Round

image.png

  • It took me 1 turn to kill my enemies last standing monster
  • After his Gargoya Lion had fallen I took the victory
  • Battle Replay Link

Summary

  • This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
  • I believe the strategy to take away from this battle is the Flying and Heal ability combo with Earthquake ruleset being active
