BATTLE MAGE SECRETS ✶ EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ✶ SECOND GO

The ruleset for this week's challenge

• Equal Opportunity - All units gain the opportunity ability which allows them to attack the unit with the lowest health on the enemy team

The ruleset that I managed to get

• Rulesets - Are You Not Entertained?, Equal Opportunity & Explosive Weaponry
• Mana Cap - 23
• Active Elements -

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

• With this weeks challenge I was thinking my enemy would play at least some type of melee monsters
• So to counter it I went with Mylor Crowling as he grants Thorns to all friendly monsters

1st Position: Fungus Fiend

• Fungus Fiend was in the first position just to block one attack
• But otherwise nothing else to say here other than he cost 0 mana why not play him

2nd Position: Creeping Ooze

• Love this card so much because of the Slow ability
• For 1 mana you get 2 speed and 2 hp with Slow
• Slow - Reduces the Speed of all enemy Units by 1

3rd Position: Fungus Flinger

• Next up is one of two monsters with Martyr
• Martyr - When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats

4th Position: Quora Towershead

• Now the main event Quora Towershead
• Quora Towershead is just so strong in my opinion
• Bloodlust - Every time this Unit defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats
• Heal - Restores a third of the max health to this Unit's health each round

5th Position: Venari Marksrat

• Second monster with Martyr
• For both of them I was hoping that my enemy would play some melee monsters who would take them both down with Equal Opportunity active
• Martyr - When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats

6th Position: Hill Giant

• Hill Giant was my backline tank for this battle
• Also his has some quite amazing stats being 2 ranged damage, 1 speed and 7 hp for only 3 mana

Starting board

• Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would lose this battle just because of my enemies summoner
• Scarred Llama Mage is just so strong especially when teamed up with high health + Heal monster like Quora Towershead
• But lets still start the battle and have a look you never know

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

• 1st Round was a total disaster for me and the battle was quite over after that
• His Quora Towershead was almost 2 times stronger and he still had his Last Stand ability left
• I definitely messed up my line up order but I believed that I couldn't win his Quora Towershead Scarred Llama Mage combo anyway

2nd Round

• After 2nd Round the board looked quite sad for me
• My enemies Quora Towershead was 2 times stronger than mine
• So now I just needed to wait for my defeat

3rd Round

• It took him 1 turn to kill my last two standing monsters
• After my Quora Towershead and Hill Giant had fallen I took the L

Summary

• This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
• Even tho I think I could've made some better moves the battle was lost from the point my enemy decided to play Scarred Llama Mage as his summoner
