The ruleset for this week's challenge

• Fab Four - Up to four Units can be used

The ruleset that I managed to get

• Rulesets - Born Again, Briar Patch & Fab Four
• Mana Cap - 13
• Active Elements -

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Obsidian

• With this ruleset that I got I decided to go with magic team as melee was countered by Briar Patch and the mana cap was too low to play decent ranged comp
• In my case as earth was active I settled for Obsidian who grants +1 magic damage

1st Position: Fungus Flinger

• Fungus Flinger was in the 1st Position to tank some hits and also buff my 2nd Position monster two times cause of Born Again ruleset
• Martyr - When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats
• Blind - All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have a 15% higher chance of missing their target

2nd Position: Goblin Psychic

• Love this card so much because of his ability combo
• For 6 mana you get 2 magic damage, 1 speed and 5 hp
• I was hoping I would out heal my enemy damage and I also had a counter if my enemy would play heal himself
• Tank Heal - Restores a third of max health to the Unit in the first position each round
• Affliction - When this unit hits a target, it has a 50% chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed

3rd Position: Fungus Fiend

• And for the last two monsters both of them were 0 mana because the mana cap was so low I already ran out of mana
• But why not play them they cost 0 mana and tank at least 1 attack

4th Position: Furious Chicken

• And for last but not least is of course Furious Chicken
• The reason I played both of them backline is that I was scared my enemy would play monster with Bloodlust and stack himself up super strong

Starting board

• The starting board was quite promising but still 50/50
• My enemy did play monster with Bloodlust so I was super happy I didn't play my 0 mana monster in the front
• But anything could still happen so lets start the battle and have a look

Here's how the battle went

1st, 2nd & 3rd Round

• After 1st three rounds everything was going great
• I managed to kill his 1st monster two times already and my team was still holding up great
• What scared me was that his Bloodlust monster also had Tank Heal so I needed great timing to kill him

4th & 5th Round

• Next two rounds also went great
• I almost killed her for the first time but she survived with 1 hp which was so sad and also scary has now she was able to attack me first
• At least I knew I was going to kill her first because she only heals +3

6th, 7th & 8th Round

• No way
• My enemy was so lucky with his resets
• My Goblin Psychic skipped two rounds of attacks because my enemies monsters speed was higher and also she had now enough damage to kill my Goblin Psychic in one hit so I had no chance to kill him one last time
• Sadly now the battle was over as I didn't have any damage left

9th, 10th & 11th Round

• Sadly I had lost the battle
• It was so close but that is the Splinterlands experience some times

Summary

• This battle was so so even but sadly I took the L this time
• The battle came down to him getting his stats from Bloodlust so his speed was higher than mine and he had the firsts attacks
