BATTLE MAGE SECRETS ✶ NOXIOUS FUMES ✶ SECOND GO

The ruleset for this week's challenge

• Noxious Fumes - All units are Poisoned at the start of the game

The ruleset that I managed to get

• Rulesets - Super Sneak & Noxious Fumes
• Mana Cap - 30
• Active Elements - Water, Earth & Life

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

• From the elements that were active, Earth was the one where I had a best team for Noxious Fumes as I had good monsters with Heal
• Also as Super Sneak was active I decided to play Mylor Crowling to counter enemies melee monsters with Thorns (wasn't the case this time)

Tank: Furious Chicken

• As my 1st position card was Almo Cambio (0 attack) I decided to put Furious Chicken in the tank position and let him tank the first hit, that way there's no chance of him dying to Noxious Fumes before he can be useful
• And as per usual Furious Chicken is just a 0 cost monster so there no reason not to play him if you have room to do so

1st Position: Almo Cambio

• Love this card so much for Noxious Fumes battles because of his Immunity
• Immunity - This unit is immune to negative status effects
• Also as Super Sneak was active I had the chance to put Almo Cambio in front of everybody as they had the opportunity to hit over him

2nd Position: Xenith Monk

• Main reason I played him in this battle was the Heal ability
• Heal - Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round
• Also he was my second tank after my Almo Cambio had died

3rd Position: Flesh Golem

• One of my most used card in whole game
• For a 6 cost card he has just an amazing set of stats
• one of them being Heal which as crucial for this battle

4th Position: Kron the Undying

• For the last card I picked Kron the Undying also for his Heal ability
• Kron the Undying in the last position was meant to tank enemy melee monsters who got Sneak from Super Sneak but it turned out my enemy had other plans

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

• Seeing the board for the first time I understood my Mylor Crowling was just a waist as enemy didn't play any melee monsters
• After 1st Round nothing had really happened other than my Furious Chicken did his job and tanked one hit from enemy and after this Almo Cambio took over the tanking

2nd Round

• After 2nd Round still nothing had really happened but at this point I was already quite sure I will win as he was lacking damage and my last three monsters had Heal

3rd Round

• At this point enemy health bars were looking super low and mine were completely fine

4th Round

• This was the round my Almo Cambio finally died but this didnt make any difference as I still was on the path of winning this battle

5th Round

• The 5th and final round was just cleanup job as my enemy lost its last source of damage to Noxious Fumes
• After the round I had won the battle

Summary

• My strategy of playing Heal and Immunity against Noxious Fumes ruleset seemed to work quite nicely
• Sadly my enemy didn't play any melee monsters so my summoner pick went full south and was useless the entire game
• Also I feel like I did a good job utilising the Super Sneak ruleset for my advantage
