BATTLE MAGE SECRETS ✶ REVERSE SPEED ✶ SECOND GO

The ruleset for this week's challenge

• Reverse Speed - Units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds, attack accuracy based on speed will also be reversed

The ruleset that I managed to get

• Rulesets - Reverse Speed & Born Again
• Mana Cap - 18
• Active Elements - Fire, Water, Earth & Life

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

• As the mana cap was quite low I knew the best element to go for was earth
• Also Mylor Crowling is one of my favorite summoners in all types of battles because of hes Thorns ability as almost everybody plays some kind of melee monsters in there team
• Thorns - When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker

1st Position: Flesh Golem

• Flesh Golem was my main tank and damage dealer
• 3 speed isn't the best for Reverse Speed ruleset battle but I felt like Flesh Golem with hes 10 hp and Heal is just to strong for that to matter
• Heal - Restores a portion of the unit's health each round

2nd Position: Furious Chicken

• Nothing really to say here other than why not play Furious Chicken as he costs 0 mana
• Mostly I relay on him tanking just 1 hit but pairing him with Mylor Crowling I was hoping maybe a melee monsters attacks him and also gets damaged by Thorns

3rd Position: Uraeus

• Love this card so much
• For 3 mana you get 2 damage (with Sneak), 2 speed (which is moderately okay in Reverse Speed), 2 hp and 1 shield
• Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit

4th Position: Wood Nymph

• Great 4 cost magic monster with Tank Heal
• Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the unit in the first position's health each round
• Again 2 speed is okay and in this case I think its even better than 1 speed as then he heals at the end of the round not in the beginning when maybe Flesh Golem has full hp and then the heal is wasted

5th Position: Xenith Archer

• And for the last one in the lineup is Xenith Archer who I mainly picked for her 3 hp
• For only 2 mana I got 3 hp to act like a backline tank
• Also she has 1 speed which works great in Reverse Speed

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

• After 1st Round I already saw that I was going to win as I was chipping away at my enemies tank and my Flesh Golem was full hp at the end of the round
• Also my enemy didn't have any monsters who would've had the chance to kill my Wood Nymph so this battle was already over
• But still let's look at the rest of the battle

2nd & 3rd Round

• After 2nd and 3rd Round the board still looked quite the same but his tank had lost his Rebirth which he got from the Born Again ruleset
• Also my Uraeus was going to town with my enemies backline in the meantime which shortened the battle a lot

4th Round

• After 4th Round the board was finally starting to look less crowded
• My enemies tank was going to die in the start of the 5th round which meant the battle was close to the end

5th & 6th Round

• In the last two round I simply cleaned up the last standing monsters and without loosing any hp on my monsters and took the clean victory

Summary

• Even tho this wasn't one of thous crazy equal battles I still enjoyed watching it
• For a low mana cap battle like this one was dominating your enemy this hard doesn't happen a lot to me so I took it all in
