BATTLE MAGE SECRETS ✶ SILENCED SUMMONERS

The ruleset for this week's challenge

- Silenced Summoners - Summoners do not give any buffs/debuffs or grant/use abilities
The ruleset that I managed to get

- Rulesets - Silenced Summoners & Aim True
- Mana Cap - 32
- Active Elements -

Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Contessa L'ament

- With this weeks challenge the specific summoner type doesn't matter which matters is that the summoner is lowest mana cost possible and highest level possible
- In my case as earth wasn't active I settled for death and luckily I had 3 cost level 3 summoner available
1st Position: Harklaw

- Harklaw was my main tank for this battle
- Main reason I like Harklaw here a lot is hes Shield ability
- Shield - Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks
2nd Position: Uraeus

- Love this card so much because of how many stats you get for low mana
- For 3 mana you get 2 melee damage (with Sneak), 2 speed, 1 armor and 2 hp
- Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit
3rd Position: Skeleton Assassin

- Another low mana cost melee monster with Sneak
- For 3 mana you get 2 damage (with Sneak), 5 speed and 3 hp
- Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit
4th Position: Ravenhood Warden

- Next up in line is one lovely soul bound card
- Even tho you don't get a lot of stats for 4 mana you do get the Protect ability which I really like
- Protect - All friendly units gain +2 Armor
5th Position: Haunted Spider

- I picked Haunted Spider for two reasons
- First because of hes great stats + the low mana cost
- And the second reason was hes Poison ability
- Poison - Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied
6th Position: Octopider

- Octopider was my backline tank for this battle
- Also hes has some quite amazing stats being 3 ranged damage, 3 speed and 8 hp
- Alongside the amazing stats is hes Demoralize ability which combined with Harklaw Shield may end in a situation where my Harklaw just simply can't take damage
- Demoralize - Reduces the Melee attack of all enemy units by 1

Starting board

- Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because after my Demoralize ability effect kicks in the only enemy monster who could kill my Harklaw was his Soul Strangler
- That meant my Sneak monsters had at least 10 round to get to him and that would've lead to 100% win which I strongly believed would happen

Here's how the battle went
1st Round

- After 1st Round my theory was correct his Weirding Warrior took down my Harklaw shield and now I had 9 round till he was going to die which I believed was quite enough
- Also my Sneak monsters were already chipping away of my enemies backline and would get to the only damaging enemy monster next round
2nd Round

- After 2nd Round my board was still looking almost as healthy as in the beginning
- My Sneak monsters did there job and got rid of the only monster damaging my Harklaw
- Sadly my Haunted Spider was really trolling in this battle and was able to hit the 50% of not applying the poison twice but this was sad only because I knew I was going to win so this would've speed that up
3rd Round

- In the 3rd Round my enemies Harklaw finally died and now it was just down to defeating the last standing monsters
- As hes damage was 1 and my Harklaw had Shield it was just a waiting game when was he gonna fall
4th, 5th Round

- It took me 1 round and 1 turn to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After hes Carnage Titan had fallen I took the victory
- Battle Replay Link

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- I believe the strategy to take away from this battle is the Shield and Demoralize ability combo
- The combo also works with Void, Silence for magic and Shield, Headwinds for range
- If you also would like to hop on the Splinterlands train feel free to use my Referral
