The ruleset for this week's challenge

image.png

  • Stampede - Trample will retrigger infinitely as long as the trampling unit keeps killing other units

The ruleset that I managed to get

image.png

  • Rulesets - Lost Legendaries & Stampede
  • Mana Cap - 42
  • Active Elements - image.png image.png

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

  • With this weeks challenge the best summoner you could go would be Possibilus the Wise as he gives Trample to every monster in you team
  • In my case I did have Possibilus the Wise but I didn't really have a great team to pair him with as the mana cap was quite low
  • So I decided to go with Mylor Crowling instead because I knew I had a great team with earth element and secondly Mylor is just so good with his Thorns
1st Position: Flesh Golem

  • Flesh Golem was my main tank for this battle
  • My plan was to make Flesh Golem tank all the hits and then heal full with his own Heal and two other Tank Heals
  • Heal - Restores a portion of the unit's health each round
2nd Position: Mycelic Slipspawn

  • He was the last monster that I picked and the main reason I picked him was that I didn't really have any other card to play here
  • In my opinion Mycelic Slipspawn isn't the greatest card out there but it does the job
  • Taunt - All enemy units target this unit(if they are able to)
3rd Position: Mushroom Seer

  • Love this card a lot
  • The main reason I like Mushroom Seer so much is his Silence ability
  • Silence - Reduces the magic attack of all enemy units
4th Position: Sand Worm

  • I am always on the fence about Sand Worm as I feel like he just died too fast to do any damage
  • But you just can't not play his huge 5 melee damage with Sneak
  • Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit
5th Position: Wood Nymph

  • Wood Nymph was the first Tank Heal in my team
  • Even tho her stats aren't the best just her ability makes her worth the 4 mana
  • Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the unit in the first position's health each round
6th Position: Goblin Psychic

  • Goblin Psychic was my second Tank Heal
  • Goblin Psychic and Wood Nymph were my master plan to victory in this battle
  • Even tho Goblin Psychic is 2 mana more expensive than Wood Nymph Goblin Psychic has quite great stats not like Wood Nymph
  • Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the unit in the first position's health each round

Starting board

image.png

  • Already after seeing the starting board I was quite happy I played Mushroom Seer as my enemies decided to play a magic comp
  • Other than that the battle seemed quite open for both of us

image.png

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

image.png

  • After 1st Round my position was looking quite good
  • I had managed to almost take down his main tank
  • I also saw that in the next round my sand Worm should take down my enemies Riverboat Captain
2nd Round

image.png

  • After 2nd Round my board was still looking quite healthy
  • Luckily my enemies Riverboat Captain died before his Blast could take down my Mushroom Seer
  • At this point I was sure that I was going to win I just had to much heal for his remaining damage
3rd Round

image.png

  • In the 3rd Round I already started to clean up my enemies board monster by monster
  • Next round coming up seemed to be the last round as I still had lot of damage left on my board
4th Round

image.png

  • 4th Round was just a simple clean up for me
  • After hes last standing monsters had fallen I took the victory
  • Battle Replay Link

Summary

  • This battle was definitely heavily one sided because of my Mushroom Seer and his Silence
  • I believe this win was just a lucky guess on my side with the Mushroom Seer pick and him playing magic comp
  • But sometimes you just need to take the risk and try to counter your enemies teams before seeing them
