BATTLE MAGE SECRETS ✶ SUPER SNEAK ✶ SECOND GO

The ruleset for this week's challenge

• Super Sneak - All melee units gain the Sneak ability

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

• With this weeks challenge I decided to go with Mylor Crowling as Super Sneak greatly benefits people playing melee comps and Thorns counters melee hard
• And also the second rule in this battle Up Close and Personal forces players to go melee so Mylor Crowling is possibly the best summoner you could go with
• Thorns - When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker

1st Position: Mycelic Infantry

• Mycelic Infantry was my main tank for this battle
• Main reason I like Mycelic Infantry here a lot is hes Shield ability
• Shield - Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks

2nd Position: Hill Giant

• Hill Giant was my second pick and the main reason I picked him was that he had a lot of health for 3 mana
• As my enemy is forced to play melee monsters any one who hits my backline will probably die to Thorns from my Mylor Crowling and that's why I need a lot of health so Hill Giant can tank as much as possible
• Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit

Starting board

• Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because my Thorns will kill almost every of my enemies backline monsters and also my 1st position monster is much stronger and his

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

• After 1st Round my theory was correct his backline was already starting to fall
• Saddly my Hill Giant did fall in the first round but it didn't matter cause I still had my Mycelic Infantry with Shield and Thorns

2nd Round

• After 2nd Round I saw that if neither of his monsters should not fall in the 3rd Round my Mycelic Infantry would fall first
• But I also saw that if my Mycelic Infantry wouldn't miss his attack my enemies Antoid Platoon would fall and secure me the win

3rd Round

• Luckily my Mycelic Infantry didn't miss and I killed his Antoid Platoon
• With this kill on Antoid Platoon I secured myself a victory in the 4th Round otherwise the battle would have ended in a draw
• Now it was just a waiting game when my enemies last monster would hit my Mycelic Infantry leaving him with 1 hp and killing my enemies last monster with Thorns

4th Round

• The last round went exactly how I described it
• my enemies last monster died to my Thorns and the battle was over
• I had won the battle by 1 health

Summary

• This battle was definitely much closer than I wanted of imagined it to be
• I believe the strategy to take away from this battle is the Shield and Thorns ability combo
• The combo also works with Void, Magic Reflect for magic and Shield, Return Fire for range
