The Ruleset

image.png

  • Rulesets - Silenced Summoners, Might Makes Right & Healed Out
  • Mana Cap - 16
  • Active Elements - image.png image.png image.png image.png

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Kelya Frendul

  • With the ruleset and element pick that I got picking summoner was kind of easy but little different than in a regular ruleset battle
  • Firstly Silenced Summoners was active so all summoner abilities and buffs did not matter at all
  • Which mattered was the mana cost, summoner level and summoner element
  • When it comes to mana I wanted to play lowest mana cost summoner possible as my mana cap for this battle was really low
  • As I wanted to play water element I had to pick from 3 mana cost level 2 summoner and 4 mana cost level 4 summoner
  • So in my case I went with Kelya Frendul as he was water element decently low mana cost and high enough level so I could play higher level monsters and get by Might Makes Right
1st Position: Halfling Refugee

image.png

  • Halfling Refugee was my main tank for this battle
  • The reason why I wanted to play water element was that I had two selfharm monsters there
  • And I wanted to play them because the mana cap was really low and playing the selfharm monsters was the only way to get some real stats on my board for low mana
  • Weary - At the beginning of round 1, Weary units have a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round, up to a maximum of 80%. Exhausted units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate
2nd Position: Deeplurker

  • I actually picked Deeplurker as the last monster for my team
  • And the reason Why I had to play him was that I just did not have any other lower mana monsters who had high enough damage to be played as Might Makes Right was active
  • Deeplurker also had quite decent stats for being only 6 mana
  • I got great damage, decent speed, quite high hp and the Opportunity ability so he was able to attack from any position
  • Opportunity - Targets the enemy unit with the least health
3rd Position: Shock Trooper

image.png

  • For last but not least was my second selfharm monster
  • As stated earlier I needed to play them to get even some kind of stats on board as the battle mana cap was really low
  • And as you can see for 4 mana I got 4 magic damage, 4 speed and 5 hp
  • Sadly it came with a cost of Electrified ability but I was fine with it as hopefully it was going to be a fast battle
  • Electrified - Deals 1 damage to all allied Units at the beginning of each round

Starting board

image.png

  • Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because my enemy had lower level summoner and therefor his whole team was lower level than mine
  • Also my team was kind of perfectly build to counter my enemies whole team
  • My magic monster and Deeplurker was going to make a fast work of him 1st position tank and then his magic backline monster
  • But my predictions could still be off by a mile so lets start the battle and have a look

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

image.png

  • The first round did not really go in my favor really
  • I had lost my frontline tank while my enemies team was still standing whole
  • But everything was going to hopefully fall into place in the next round so lets keep watching
2nd Round

image.png

  • Well the battle ended really quickly as I somehow managed to miss my enemies Electrified damage which started from the 2nd round
  • The Electrified damage took down his tank and damaged his magic monster to 4hp which meant my first 4 magic damage also took down his last monster and ended the battle really quick
  • After his Giant Alpine Skink and Shock Trooper had fallen I took the victory

Summary

  • This battle came out to be heavily one sided but still fun to watch
  • The strategy to take away from this battle in my opinion is to play as many selfharm monsters in a low mana cap battles as you can
  • That why you are going to get a lot of stats on board for low mana and also the selfharm effects does not really have the time to start hurting you own team
