Chaos Legion and the new modern rank format

Hey Guys! Let me share some tips for building your own chaos deck and the incoming modern rank format

As we all know, there will be new format for rank battle in the near future which are wild and modern format. But for today's topic, I'll be just talking about the modern format and provide some tips on how we can prepare for it.

I've been playing this game for about 5 months or more now as of writing this blog. As this is also my first NFT game, I made some mistakes in my investment here on my early days. I was so excited to buy my own cards but at the same time skeptical as I don't want to spend more money without earning yet. But now, the card prices are way more higher than before and the rentals prices goes up as well especially when end season is approaching.

Based on my experience from playing this game and observing in the market, here are the following tips I can give to everyone especially for those beginners like me.

TIP #1: Stay away from the Bronze League
Bronze League has been nerfed hard from the previous updates and I can say that unlike before, it is not worth it anymore to have multiple accounts and let it play in bronze league. You can still do it if you want but what I can suggest to you is that you focus your time and effort on a single account which you want to grow in terms of assets and income.

TIP #2: Have your own cards if possible
As we can see, card prices are going up and up each day. Investing on cards will surely be profitable on the long term aspect of the game. You can have them to play, to rent for others or to flip them (buy and sell), it's all up to you. Also, having your own cards will help you gain your own card power which can give you more SPS airdrop points plus it will lessen your stress on every end season. For me, this is a win-win situation.

TIP #3: Look for your cards break point
Before buying any cards, you should always look for the break point. So what is this break point I'm talking about? It is the level of the card you want to have at least for the rank tier you are aiming. Let's say we want to play on silver league, we can still play level 1 cards but we also want to maximize the ability of our cards. Take a look at this Pelacor Conjurer for example. It is already a good meat shield card for a level 1 but it's much better on its level 4 so we can get that reflect ability.

I'll give you one more example. Take a look at this Pelacor Mercenary.

It is a great card right? Having a fly and heal ability on it's 6th level. Well yes, but if you are not planning to play in gold rank, then you can't use his heal ability. Technically, you can still use a level 6 common card in silver rank but your summoner should be a level 5 common card which will somehow limit your deck because the only common summoner as of now is the Delwyn Dragonscale and we are trying to build our chaos deck and there's no common summoner for them yet.

Conclusion
With these few tips, it will surely help you prepare for the modern rank mode and build your chaos deck. It will also help you have that enough power to play in silver or higher tiers by just maximizing the level and break point of your own card without renting high-cost unnecessary cards.

These tips are also applicable in other card edition and not just for chaos cards but it is way more efficient for chaos since their prices aren't that high as the other edition.
