Why leveling up my Chaos Legion cards to Bronze league may or may not be worth it (8th post)

We need to study every project on which we invest so that our resources such as money, energy, and time will not be wasted. The new Chaos Legion card edition in Splinterlands is not an exemption to this. Right now, every possible player can play all the level 1 common and rare Chaos Legion cards but not any of its epic and legendary Chaos Legion cards. This means that if a player will just rely on the free cards then most likely the percentage of winning will be very slim. One way to increase the percentage of winning is to buy and level up the cards. Due to resource constraints we need to study if buying and leveling up some specific cards will be worth it or not. With these, I made excel calculations of all the Chaos Legion cards from Novice to Bronze league and the changes of every card's stats and abilities. Here's the data for the common Chaos Legion cards:

In this table, we can find the cost in USD and PHP of each common Chaos Legion card as of Dec 22, 2021, the number of cards (BCX) needed to level up a specific card to level 3 which is the max level of common cards to be played in Bronze league, the changes in stats and additional abilities, and the total power gained when such cards are bought.

With this table, some questions will pop up from our mind:

Which cards are worthy to be bought with respect to its additional stat and ability in comparison to its cost from Novice to Bronze league?

Which cards will fit my CURRENT budget?

Which cards will increase or decrease in VALUE OVER TIME?

Give your answers on the comment section and let's have a discussion there.

I will also post the same thing for the rare, epic, and legendary Chaos Legion cards if some people will ask for it in the comment section.

Thank you for reading and learning at the same time.

Once your cards are leveled up you can always play in the lower league or tournaments if you want. I think it is beneficial.
