Hello everybody this is my submission for the weekly battle challenge, theme: centaur.

Centaur is a great 4 cost neutral unit with snipe. I have used him many times and really enjoy him in my Selenia Sky comps.

Below I will show you my positioning and give a breakdown of the battle that commenced.

Battle

So here we have the battle link above if you wanna watch it. We have 50 mana which is awesome I love high mana battles and the enrage ruleset. I went with my tried and true girl Selenia Sky she is just the best. It will take some getting used to her being gone when the modern ruleset rolls around but I'm excited for the upcoming changes to say the least.

This was actually a pretty close battle if you watch the replay he almost got me with the overwhelming amount of magic damage he was able to do. My team was levelled up a lot more than his so it prevailed for that sheer reason alone I believe. If his monsters were a bit quicker he could have taken more out and it would have been bad for me. Magic is so strong and oppressive I find and I do everything to avoid playing it haha. I dislike the magic spammers but that is just my opinion I know people swear by it and I understand why but I dislike it with a passion lol.

Postioning

Spot 1 Tank

In my main tank position I went for Harklaw this dude is a beast with shield and immunity I felt he was a good choice here especially with enrage he was gonna dish out some good damage. I didn't anticipate my opponent going magic here so that threw things off but he still played a big enough role to make a difference.

Spot 2 Second Tank

In my second spot, I went with the new death legendary Djinn Muirat. This guy is a beast as well having void armour helped me out huge in this battle as it blocked some of the magic my opponent was throwing at me. I really love this card and paired with a stun monster he can do some crazy damage. I think he would fit so well with LOD but haven't tried the pairing yet.

Spot 3 Utility

Diamond Dragon what a beast of a card rocking out with 10 armour and having cleanse and slow makes this card an all-around utility freak. I have used them in so many situations and I find it to be one of the best dragon cards around it can do so much for your team and the face it is magic makes it even better. The cleanse ability can come in clutch for the noxious fumes ruleset and slow is one of the best abilities in the game.

Spot 4 Hyper Damage

Now I bring out another one of the new legendaries Zyvax Vuul. I'll be honest this card is my favourite in the new set I think he has some big drawbacks but I love pounding a whopping 9 Damage to the enemy face. He can be very hard to put into lineups and armour can ruin his day, but I'm a sucker for this guy and am trying a bunch of different comps with him in it. I wish the recharge ability would start on turn 2 so you could get a hit off on turn one but I understand why they made it the way they did. It could be insanely broken with ifrit or this guy if they got to attack turn one without any drawbacks.

Spot 5 Snipe

The theme of the week is the good ole centaur. This can be a beast being a natural snipe monster with 2 damage and 4 speed is very good then paired with Selenia Sky going up to 3 damage he hits hard and fast. I have used him countless times and will use him countless more. Put him far in the back so he didn't get picked off too quick and let him do his thing.

Spot 6 Ranged

Last but not least we get to another classic the fire spitter. Another ranged beast in the Selenia Sky comp. I like to put him in the far back as he usually is one of the hardest hitters. Plus at 4 speed and flying he has a decent chance and avoiding sneak attacks as well.
