Isaria in Pixel Art by Draicor - Splinterlands Art Contest #156

I would like to have a legendary death card that boosts magic damage, since there are so many magic monsters in the death splinter. I made this card with only one ability, to increase the magic damage for only 3 mana.

I used two of her photos for inspiration.

The first thing I did, was download the legendary card of mimosa nightshade from the Splinterlands game and removed mimosa from it.

Then I drew her cloak, but I forgot to take a picture... by the time I remembered, I took this one.

After the initial drawing, I removed the white lines and added some shadows and highlights.

This is how the shadow layer looks like when I hide the other layers.

Turns out Aseprite has a built in gradient tool that draws gradients as easily as click and drag.. I feel like an idiot lol, I was doing gradients manually, duh..

This is how the background looks like inside the empty card. I tried to stick to the same color palette as the original untamed death splinter card.

And after I put everything together, this is the end result ^^

I also want to say thank you to every single person that has upvoted my art, my last drawing got over 500 upvotes and frankly, I was really surprised, so, thank you!

Whoever wants to see Isaria as a legendary card in-game, say aye in the comments! lol just kidding (it would be cool though).
