But why is it called "Low hanging fruit"? I'm curious as always. :)

Well, the term Low Hanging Fruit comes from the concept of fruit picking. The ones on the bottom branches are the easiest to get to, often just by standing on the ground. The further up you go, the easier it is done.

As an analogy, it means the tasks or objects that are the most easily accessible. In a good sense, it is used to get easy tasks out of the way when you have a long list of things to do. In a negative sense, it means only working on easy tasks and not hard ones.

In the sense of this report, they are simply the most easily accessible cards per set. Not all cards at different levels are sold at the market trade value. They might not sell at all and sit on the market at inflated prices. This is more true at the top of the list. The low hanging fruit change daily.

Example: The Lowest selling Legendary fluctuates all the time, recently dipping under the $1 mark for a Harklaw and Djinn Biljka.

If you go up to Gold Foil Valnamor, there is one listed at $15,000 and another listed at $25,000 with no fluctuation and no sales occuring. That is because this card is listed at an overpriced value. It is not easily accessible, with only 54 in circulation, I am guessing that the holders of the other 52 are not going to be trading theirs.

Thus Gold Foil Valnamor means nothing in a report like this. Those that have it, won't trade it. 99.999% of new players cannot afford it, and even then, $15,000 is overpriced.

If I wanted to make a list of the Lowest Gold Foil Legendary cards on the market, I would have better data and that data would actually be related to the market going up and down. Gold Foil Quix the Devious is $165.618, Grandmaster Rathe is $175, then Camila Sungazer at $899.990. Somewhere above them when you hit round $5000ish on a card I am fairly sure there is ZERO movement on those offers. Or that it might be one sale a week across all cards over $3000.

As for the low hanging fruit and they will trade daily.
