Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge - Nerissa Tridawn

Hello friends, according to the news, Splinterlands will soon be changing with new Reward cards that will open up new strategic opportunities, but until then I decided to dedicate this day to a new round of the Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge and spend a few battles with a great Water Elemental mage - Nerissa Tridawn.

Despite its lack of abilities and its high cost of 9 mana, this card is useful in Back 2 Basics or Keep Your Distance fights, so I use it a lot. In addition, its 10 life makes it a very resilient fighter.

My lineup:

Byzantine Kitty

Most powerful summoner, that giving great speed boosts, no misses, and the ability to heal first position.

Kelp Initiate

fast wall, which, after gaining bonus speed points, becomes an even more interesting defender.

Djinn Oshannus

The strongest mage with excellent speed, attack and the ability to resist magic damage. In battles with the Keep Your Distance rule - indispensable fighter!

Phantom Of The Abyss

His mana allows him to use expensive cards, so I decided to add a very fast and dodgy (thanks to Dodge ability) mage to this combo. If my Djinn gets out of the game quickly, this card might be a good replacement.

Runemancer Kye

Another powerful mage, and probably one of my favorite cards in the Riftwatchers edition. Its ability to replenish life with damage has helped me out more than once, and it's become a good tradition to keep it in long-range positions.

Creeping Ooze

Speed attacks are cool, so I decided to make that advantage even stronger and slowed down my opponent's cards with this cheap monster.

Nerissa Tridawn

Since this mage's attack speed is way inferior to the others, I decided to make her a "finishing" card, especially since she's more than good at attacking, and her lack of misses makes her quite dangerous :)

I had a very dangerous opponent! An Obsidian Summoner that boosts magic attacks, some very powerful mages, and a very fast Regal Peryton, but despite the level difference, my deck was much faster.

In the first round, I lost my Kelp Initiate despite its speed, but I did a lot of damage to the enemy Mycelic Slipwpawn, and by the end of the second round I had a significant qualitative advantage.

The fourth round was decisive, and as expected, Neriss Tridawn handled the two cards perfectly, stripping them of their last life units.

Watch the battle

It was a pleasure to share the experience, I wish everyone good luck this season and as always - See you on the battlefield!
