Hi, Hive! Today is the last day of the Splinterlands season, we'll get our awards tonight, but I'd like to take a little digression and talk a little bit about the ongoing conflict.

I am a cosmopolitan, a man of the world, and I respect my roots immensely. On my mother's side are Polish Jews, Ukrainians, and Chechens. On my father's side are Don Cossacks and Komi-Permians. So I have a lot of different bloods in me, which I am undoubtedly happy about.

During the Soviet Union, every summer we used to go to our numerous relatives in Kharkov, and I am proud that I was baptized in a Ukrainian church, and my godparents were my Ukrainian grandfather and his sister. By the way, my grandmother's mother, Tamara Vyacheslavovna, worked as an obstetrician for over 30 years and imagine how many Ukrainian women she helped over the years! After the collapse of the USSR we continued to visit them, and those were really good times.

Then they ended. Russians became despised and feared. The ideology promoted by the Ukrainian authorities for some reason switched to other values and encouraged nationalism. Hatred of Russians in particular. I had to stop traveling because of this, because you could easily get beaten up on the streets of Kharkov for speaking Russian. And that's terrible.

It creeps me out what methods the Russian authorities have chosen to stop this hate education, and both sides of the conflict suffer because of it. I hope today's first round of peace talks (and there will definitely be more than one) will lay a solid foundation for further discussions and the military operation will at least pause, if not stop completely.

I have a lot to say, and perhaps I will continue in the next post, but the main thing must not be forgotten - we are all flesh and blood people, wars sooner or later end and we have to live with this.

Don't incite hatred! Stay human!

Okay... now back to the game.

Daily Quest Rewards

Today I played the Diamond III league, made great progress on the rankings and was rewarded with some regular cards, a couple of potion bottles, some DECs, a Golden Venari Heatsmith and Chaos Legion Pack!

Chaos Legion Pack

Of course I opened it up and it contained these cards - Cruel Sethropod, Flying Squid, Hill Giant, Goblin Psychic and Molten Ash Golem. It's only 59 cents, but as I've said many times before, there are no bad cards, and even an ordinary card is a few points towards the strength of the deck and the SPS airdrop.

Guild Brawl Report

I got off to a pretty good start in the new round of Guild Brawl and the plan with Waka Spiritblade seems to be a great idea, and I already have 3 wins out of 8 fights on my record.

So in the first fight I used Waka Spiritblade and the "little monsters" - Animated Corpse, Shadow Snitch to increase the attack on the first enemy position, archer Whistling Damon with the sniper skill, mage Fallen Spectre for "quick" shooting and finished with Halfing Alchemist combo, just in case the first enemy monster has a strong attack.Watch:

Taking advantage of the Equal Opportunity rule and plenty of mana in the second fight, I staked on Yodin Zaku and the "heavyweight" Fire monsters - Molten Ogre, Chimney Wallstop Gladiator, Charlok Minotaur, and Grum Flameblade, adding Creeping Ooze to slow my opponent down for greater effect.

The opponent was a great strategist, choosing Mycelic Infantry, Disintegrator, Sand Worm, and Nectar Queen, to which the summoner added the ability to reflect the damage he inflicted, but he still could not resist against two cards with Bloodlust ability. Watch:

And the third fight was entirely due to Mylor Crowling and his ability to reflect the damage he inflicted on the cards. If my opponent had chosen a couple of archers instead of melee monsters, I would have lost for sure... However, that didn't happen, and the victory was quite easy.Watch:

Looking forward to the end of the season, and good luck with your rewards!

P.S. Since my main job is texts about music, I can't help but share one of the new reviews for the joint single "Midnight" recorded by Ukrainian musician Organic Mood and Russian producer Alexander P. released last week.

Достаточно цинично бороться с национализмом уничтожая мирных жителей... впрочем, это очень по-российски.
НЕТ ВОЙНЕ!!!
И пусть все войны ведутся только в виртуальном мире!
