Splinterlands Diary 29.04.22 - SPIRIT HOARDER

Hello, friends! I don't know about you, but it's been an extremely busy week for me, so I've had very little time left to play. And the daytime quests were no fun either, with about 50 DEC, bottles, and a whole army of Pelacor Mercenaries.

But I got lucky this morning. From time to time I participate in different simple contests on Twitter related to the game and one of them, organized by Crypto Federated Reserve,brought me a great SPIRIT HOARDER card to delegate for a month.

I didn't have this card in my deck, and until today I was only thinking about buying it, but now I'm sure I should, and after trying different strategies with it I'm very happy with this, even if temporary, but still an addition.

Since a new round of Guild Brawl started last night, I decided to try it out in those battles and it turned out to be quite fun.

So, my strategy:

Yodin Zaku summoner, giving my cards a blast ability, increasing health and boosting archers.

In the first position, since the rules of combat were Noxious Fumes and the cards are poisoned, is a powerful Forgotten One fighter that can quench negative effects.

On the second position is no less powerful gladiator Chimney Wallstop, with the ability Bloodlust, which I recently pumped to level 2.

A lot of mana made me want to use expensive monsters, so the next place was occupied by the rather slow but really deadly mage Caladuum.

Fire has very few doctors, but because of the Noxious Fumes rule I decided to use Spirit Hoarder's ability and put him at #4 to get a little head start.

I spent the remaining two mana on Kobold Miner. It's a very fun Sneak Fighter that I've been enjoying since my first days in the game, and despite its modest parameters, it's very useful in the early moves when boosted by the summoner.

I had a very decent opponent, so I also used Forgotten One and put the damn strong Grum Flameblade on the tank position, adding his attacks with the strong Lava Launcher, but my plan was better.

I got rid of Fineas Rage on my first turns, and dealt damage to the enemy Lava Launcher. As planned, before dying Spirit Hoarder restored some health to my gladiator, who paired up with Caladuum to finish the job and bring me victory.
