Splinterlands Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge: Animated Corpse

Hello friends, the weekend is upon us and with a cup of coffee this morning I decided to take part in a new round of the Share Your Battle Challenge, the more so that this week's monster was the Animated Corpse, a very underrated Death element card in my opinion.

Over the past year I pumped my "dead guy" up to level 5, and I must say because of the ratio of summon cost, attack, amount of life and ability to resist magic damage, I really like it. So I often use this card in battles with little mana or Melee Mayhem rule, putting it on the third or fourth position.

I played a few battles with it today, and the most interesting one was against Mylor Crowling, a very dangerous Earth Elemental summoner.

So my strategy for this fight, with an emphasis on ranged attacks:

• Zintar Mortalis summoner, reducing the opponent's attack;
• Animated Corpse on the first position with a lot of life points, and the ability to resist magic damage;
• Parasitic Growth on the second, to attack the rear of the enemy;
• Dwarven Wizard at third, and this is probably my favorite ranged card with a small cost to summon;
• Venari Bonesmith on the fourth, so I can pump up my health;
• Uraeus in fifth, to boost your rear attack;
• finishing the combo with Twisted Jester, probably one of the fastest snipers in the game;

WATCH

It was a good choice - while the enemy was dealing with Animated Corpse, the archers were dealing damage, and Venari Bonesmith was pumping up health, and in the end he gave the remaining enemy cards a good beating :)
