Weekly Battle Challenge: Nerissa Tridawn Just Damage! [ENG/ESP]
This week's battle challenge we have Nerissa Tridawn from the Water Splinter. Nerissa Tridawn is a high health, high spell damage, and high mana cost monster. She puts other splinters to sleep with her damage. She is one monster I can not get away from using in high mana battles. Let's take a look at her stats.

This monster has no abilities. She is purely a damage dealer. She has excellent health and so so speed once you get her to the upper levels. But pairing her with Keyla summoner gives her speed boost and adds a little more protection.

In modern Diamond league which I do not have the cards for. I found myself in a high mana battle with an opponent who didn't have Diamond league summoners either (By the way they are doing really well for not having Diamond league cards). The ruleset of our match was ferocity (Ferocity gives all monsters the Fury Ability. Fury Ability provides all monsters double damage to targets with the taunt). I usually pair up Nerissa Tridawn with Keyla. But in this matchup I wanted to try something different. I went with an opportunity ability heavy attack. Which I never done before. It was a fun battle for me to see the the opportunity monsters work. Let's take a look at the matchup below.

In this battle we have Dragon Splinter versus Water Splinter. Since I was playing an opponent with lesser leveled cards than myself. This gave me the opportunity to use some cards that I don't use that often. Let's get into my lineup.
In first position I used DiemonShark. This card is a melee card with good health, attack, and defense. Plus he has really good abilities like trample, and rage.

In the second slot I chose Oshannus. This monster has high health, good spell attack, good defense, and awesome speed. He also has very good abilities. His abilities are void armor, phase, and forcefield.

In third slot I chose Nerissa Tridawn. Our weekly battle challenge monster. This monster has high health and high spell attack damage. Her speed is slow. But if she is paired with Keyla summoner her speed improves. She has no abilities. She is all about putting out spell damage.

In the fourth position I chose Whelp Herder. I went with him for his opportunity ability.

Conclusion of my thoughts on Nerissa Tridawn:
This monster card is awesome. It is a must have card when building or renting a Splinterlands account. I find this monster useful in a lot of high level mana battles. If you don't have this card in your water deck at your disposal you should look into buying it or renting it.
