That would make me so sad and I see it in real time. I came for the strategy of the auto battler, but sadly it seems all the value of the game is being driven by stupid, boring, tedious land management rather than strategic gameplay. Resource management is lame AF.

You should definitely try out DUNGEON CITIES game on Hive.
It's a Play-to-Earn dungeon crawler RPG with a lot of exploration, strategy and PvP real-time battles.
