A battle with a forgotten but still powerful card, Djinn Oshannus is back!

Today I will talk about a card that I consider to be one of the sovereigns of the water deck in splinterlands and also one of the terrors of all magic cards, I think you already know who I'm talking about, the one who was deceived by the planet, Djinn Oshannus. If you don't know this card it's because you're new to Splinterlands but know that it's an incredible card but it lost visibility with the arrival of chaos legion and that's what I'm going to talk about today so accompany me on this journey.

Let's talk in parts so you can fully understand this letter. The first thing you need to know is that it is a legendary water deck card and belongs to the reward edition and is one of the current reward cards that you can get in the game through chests, but you will need a lot of luck for that. .

In addition, it is a card with magic attack and this already draws attention because magic cards have an incredible advantage, which is to attack the enemy card's life directly, so if the enemy card has a shield, it will not serve anything against this card because it will ignore it. the shield and attack the card's health, the only way to avoid this is if the hit card has the Void Armor skill then the magic attacks will pass through the shield first.

Now that you know what kind of card Djinn Oshannus is so let's talk about his abilities that make him even more amazing.

But first I will comment just a little about their status. As I mentioned before it is a magic card and its attack is relatively high but I recommend you use it with a summoner that gives more magic attack like Alric Stormbringer and this will help a lot to make him stronger, the second thing that draws attention is his speed which is quite high so enemy cards will have a certain difficulty to damage him and lastly his life which is quite high for a magic card so he will also serve as a great defense on your team.

His first skill and that can be used at any level is Void and this skill makes magic cards do less damage to Djinn Oshannus, being more exact half the damage so if a card with 2 magic attack attacks him then it will only cause 1 damage, if it's 3 magic attack then the correct one would be 1.5 damage but it's not possible to do that so damage becomes 2, that means it always pulls the value up. It is a very useful skill as spell cards are often used in battles so they will surely hate Djinn Oshannus.

His second skill is Phase and this skill allows Djinn Oshannus to dodge magic attacks, and as I said before that magic cards always hit their targets so this is an exception, so with this skill and the speed of Djinn Oshannus it means he will have a high chance to dodge all types of attacks and this is incredibly useful as he wouldn't take damage when that happens.

His third skill and also the last one is Forcefield and maybe you don't know it or you rarely saw it and didn't understand very well how it works but this skill makes the Djinn Oshannus only receive 1 damage when he is hit by cards that have 5 or more attack and this skill is amazing because it makes cards like this that are extremely strong mean almost nothing to Djinn Oshannus because he will barely feel this attack, so besides a great card to defend against magic attacks and dodge attacks he will also take little damage from extremely strong cards.

Now that you know how awesome Djinn Oshannus is so how about meeting him in battle? But first let me show you the cards that I chose to accompany him and that I consider amazing cards from the water deck to have in hand when playing with him.

I had already mentioned before about summoner Alric Stormbringer and how it is a great choice to increase Djinn Oshannus' attack so he was the summoner I chose for this battle and he will also be more useful as there are other magic cards in it.

To defend the first position I chose Hardy Stonefish because I didn't have much mana left and I consider it a good choice for these situations because its mana cost is only 1 and it has 1 shield so it will survive at least 2 attacks against melee and ranged cards which is already a good thing.

In the second position I chose Kelp Initiate because the cards I chose for these battles had a very high mana cost and the battle didn't have a lot of mana so he is a great choice for this position because it only has 2 mana cost and has a lot speed so it won't be so easy to defeat him since the chances of him dodging enemy attacks is not low at all.

In third position we have Djinn Oshannus and as I mentioned before he is a great card to defend as he takes less damage from magic attacks and also has a lot of speed to dodge attacks and a lot of health so it's a great position for him, besides we can't forget about your high magic attack then your enemies will hate you.

In fourth position we have Nerissa Trindawn and her biggest participation in this battle will be her very high magic attack that thanks to Alric Stormbringer will be 4 so it's a very scary card for your enemies and in addition it has a lot of life so in addition to causing much damage it will take a lot of work to defeat.

In fifth position we have Venari Wavesmith and it will be an extremely important card because it has the Protect ability that grants +2 shield to all allied cards and this is essential in many battles because the shield serves to block the attack of melee cards and rangeds which are usually the majority of cards used in battles, so before dealing damage to card life they will have to go through the shield and believe me that makes all the difference.

And last but not least we have Ice Pixie that despite looking small and fragile it will be a nuisance in your battles because it has a considerable amount of attack and good agility, in addition it has the Fly ability that makes it have a good chance to dodge attacks from cards that don't have this ability so don't think she will be defeated easily even more with Venari Wavesmith's protection.

In this battle my opponent used Summoner Kelya Frendul which is a very useful summoner since it grants speed and shield to all allied cards but she won't be a good choice in this battle since most of my cards are magic so her shield won't will be useful.

Also most enemy cards are melee and ranged so Venari Wavesmith's shield will be of great help in battle. But who will emerge victorious?

In the first round the enemy's Diemonshark was defeated and he was more defensive than he had and I lost Hardy Stonefish but that was predictable because he had little health. Also I have more cards in fields and they have a lot of defense, while on the enemy side he has few cards and they are very vulnerable.

It didn't take long in the second round for all the enemy cards to be defeated as I had a lot of attack and they had little health, so in that same round the victory was achieved and my team was victorious.
