With so much new content constantly arriving in Splinterlands between game modes, cards, and Rulesets older content that is very good or essential in many battles is often set aside. This happens with the Gladiator card set; these cards are primarily designed for Brawls, but thanks to the Are You Not Entertained? Ruleset and Summoners with Conscript, they can be used in all game modes. They are very strong cards in general, and the fact that they all have Bloodlust makes them very useful if you know how to use them, being among the best in the game to the point of being banned in some Brawls.

Con tanto contenido nuevo en Splinterlands constantemente entre modos de juego, tarjetas y Rulesets, se deja de lado contenido más antiguo que es muy bueno o que es esencial en muchas batallas. Therefore, I wanted to talk about my Gladiator collection: how complete I have it so far across each rarity and which ones are the best in battles within the current game meta. For now, I have a good collection of both Regular Foil and Gold Foil cards, with high-level units, though most are not at their maximum levels yet. With some luck, I might be able to level up some cards in the coming seasons by gathering Merits through Brawls and the Draws that give a random amount among all possibilities.

Por ahora tengo una buena colección de tarjetas tanto Regular Foil como Gold Foil, bastante buena con tarjetas en niveles altos pero no a sus máximos niveles en su mayoría; aunque estoy cerca y con algo de suerte pueda subir algunas tarjetas en las próximas temporadas al conseguir Merits solo con las Brawls y los Draws que dan una cantidad aleatoria entre todas las posibilidades.

I have the entire collection of cards of this rarity at level 8, with more than 40 copies to reach the 80 additional copies needed to raise them to level 9. Already at level 8, many are very good units, such as: Katrelba Gobson, incredible for destroying the enemy team from the backline due to her combination of Sneak to attack the rear, Double Strike to double her damage, and Bloodlust to increase her stats; Isgald Vorst to eliminate weakened enemies with Opportunity, piercing armor with Piercing and increasing stats with Bloodlust; or Helmet Kharafax, a very good card against magic damage due to Void and Magic Reflect, which can be combined with allies with Weapons Training to give him extra offensive power that benefits twice as much with Scavenger and Bloodlust as enemies are eliminated. These are not the only good cards of this rarity.

Of this rarity, I have all of them at level 7, just one level away from their maximum. Although the increase in rarity makes them harder to level up, they are already useful cards in battle, such as: Orella Abadon, a low mana cost Sneak unit that does not miss its attacks, or Captain Katie, a unit that can increase its stats from a middle position and resist the first enemy attack if she ends up in a vulnerable position thanks to Divine Shield.

De esta rareza tendría a todas en nivel 7, a uno de estar en su máximo nivel. Aunque con su aumento de rareza se dificulta subirlas de nivel, ya son tarjetas útiles en batallas como: Orella Abadon, un Sneak de coste bajo de maná que no falla sus ataques, o Captain Katie, una unidad que puede ir aumentando sus estadísticas en una posición media y resistir el primer ataque enemigo si termina en una posición vulnerable gracias a Divine Shield.

In this rarity, I only have Gorth at maximum level, and all the others are at level 4 or 5. This is where one of the strongest cards in the entire set is found: Quora Towershead, a unit with two types of attacks that makes her very good as she gains the stat increase for both upon eliminating an enemy. Additionally, she has Immunity to avoid enemy stat modifiers and negative effects, which makes her excellent, and combined with her Heal, she creates a very good tank; to improve her even further, she has Dispel to eliminate enemy unit buffs.

De esta rareza solo tengo a Gorth en máximo nivel y a todas las demás las tengo a nivel 4 o 5, siendo donde está una de las tarjetas más fuertes de todo el conjunto: Quora Towershead, una unidad con dos tipos de ataques que la hace muy buena al ganar en ambos el aumento de estadísticas al eliminar un enemigo. Pero además tiene Immunity para evitar modificadores de estadísticas enemigos y efectos negativos, lo que la hace muy buena, y combinado con su Heal crea un tanque muy bueno; para mejorarla aún más tiene Dispel para eliminar las mejoras de las unidades enemigas.

Among the legendaries, I have copies of all of them between levels 2 and 3, so I don't have any at their maximum level. As is customary in this rarity, there is a very strong change between levels, but they are already usable and very good, such as: Fina Voxom, currently being a fire element version of Isgald Vorst but will be better at her next level; and Tatiana Blayde, similar to Quora Towershead but more offensive due to her high speed, being another of the best cards in the set.

De las legendarias tengo copias de todas entre los niveles 2 y 3, por lo que no tengo ninguna en su nivel máximo. Conclusion

For now, my Gladiator card collection is at a key level; they are very good cards in general but just a step away from being the best. It is worth using the Summoners that allow me to use them, even if they aren't extremely powerful on their own, because they compensate with how strong these units are. With a bit of luck, I can get the necessary Merits at any time to level them up.

Por ahora mi colección de tarjetas Gladiator está en un nivel clave; siendo tarjetas muy buenas en general pero a nada de ser las mejores. Vale la pena usar los invocadores que me permiten usarlas, aunque no sean muy potentes por sí mismos, porque compensan por lo fuerte que son estas unidades. Con algo de suerte puedo conseguir en cualquier momento los Merits necesarios para subirlas de nivel.
