[ES/EN] Splinterlands - Escalation has arrived + New Ruleset - My Pack Opening

Today, we can finally officially say that the Escalation mini-set of cards is here; and with it, through the update that allows opening Packs, more things have arrived for those who are not interested in Escalation or cannot buy packs or cards from this set.

Hoy finalmente podemos oficialmente decir que el mini conjunto de tarjetas Escalation ya está aquí y con él llegaron, con la actualización que permite abrir los Packs, llegaron más cosas para los que no les interesa Escalation o no pueden comprar packs o tarjetas de este conjunto.

This mini-set, as always, will bring changes to the meta in both Modern and Wild formats, as well as in the Survival mode; since it brings everything from reinforcements to the Bloodline mechanic that arrived with the core set of Conclave Arcana with the new Bloodline Pact ability, to more key Bloodline cards to improve Archons and monsters that can summon them. It also gives an advantage when using cards with Debilitations, specifically with Incendiary, because it combines with Flame Fed, an ability to avoid missing attacks like Determined, new abilities such as Bulwark and Shadow Focus which are related to positions in the team to activate, and also new abilities that change the targets of attacks, which are Apex Strike, Decoy, and Reprisal.

Este mini conjunto, como siempre, traerá cambios en el meta tanto en el formato Modern y Wild, además de en el modo Survival; ya que trae desde refuerzos a la mecánica de Bloodline que llegó con el conjunto central de Conclave Arcana con la habilidad nueva de Bloodline Pact y más tarjetas con Bloodline clave para mejorar Archons y monstruos que pueden invocarlos, también que dan ventaja al usar tarjetas con Debilitations, en específico con Incendiary, porque se combina con Flame Fed, una habilidad para evitar fallar los ataques como Determined, nuevas habilidades que son Bulwark y Shadow Focus que están relacionadas a las posiciones en el equipo para activarse y además nuevas habilidades que cambian los objetivos de los ataques que son Apex Strike, Decoy y Reprisal.

But it not only brings changes to the meta within battles but also in the markets, since they are new cards entering them, causing other older cards to lower their sales and rental prices; either because older cards drop in price because Escalation brings better cards, or they go up in price for having good synergies with the new ones, creating better strategies, or simply for having a statistical advantage, such as the new cards with a cost of 0 mana, like what happened with the Spawn cards of different elements from the Chaos Legion sets.

Pero no solo trae cambios en el meta dentro de las batallas, sino también en los mercados, ya que son tarjetas nuevas que entran en ellos haciendo que otras tarjetas más antiguas bajen sus precios de ventas y alquileres; ya sea porque tarjetas más antiguas bajan de precio porque Escalation trae mejores tarjetas o que suban de precio por tener buenas sinergias con las nuevas creando mejores estrategias, o simplemente por tener una ventaja estadística como son las nuevas tarjetas de coste 0 de maná, como pasó con las tarjetas Spawn de diferentes elementos del conjunto Chaos Legion.

Brave the Bull

The eighth Conflict card of the Conclave Arcana has already been added so that all the information can be viewed comfortably before its Conflict begins, once the one for HANV ends.

Se agregó ya la octava tarjeta de Conflicto del Conclave Arcana para ver toda la información cómodamente antes de que empiece su Conflicto al acabar el de HANV.

Junior Varsity

• Junior Varsity: You can only summon units and archons that cost 6 or less mana.

• Junior Varsity: Solo puedes invocar unidades y archons que cuesten 6 maná o menos.

A new Ruleset that resembles Little League but with a limit on cards up to a cost of 6 mana, which makes it seem like just a copy with a small change of that Ruleset.

Una nueva Ruleset que se asemeja a Little League, pero con un límite en las tarjetas hasta el costo de 6 de maná, que hace parecer solo una copia con un pequeño cambio de esa Ruleset.

My Pack Opening

As a person with a lot of hype for this set, I also opened some Packs; not all the ones I wanted, and not even those bought in presale to obtain promo cards due to needing to use that money for other things, but to calm my hype and test my luck, I opened 5 packs using all possible positions:

Como una persona con mucho hype por este conjunto, también abrí algunos Packs; no todos los que quería y ni siquiera comprados en preventa para obtener tarjetas promo por necesitar usar ese dinero para otras cosas, pero para calmar mi hype y probar mi suerte, abrí 5 packs usando todas las posiciones posibles:

First, I opened 2 packs together and I did not get anything better than what is guaranteed in the packs: 2 Rare cards and 8 Common cards.

Primero abrí 2 packs conjuntos y no obtuve nada mejor que lo garantizado en los packs: 2 tarjetas Raras y 8 tarjetas Comunes.

Pack #3

Afterward, I opened the third pack and obtained 3 Rare cards and 2 Common cards; among them a Silver Shield Sentry, which is one of the cards that catches my attention the most and I want to test them to see if it is good and buy copies to have it at maximum level. With this, my luck was improving.

Después abrí el tercer pack y obtuve 3 tarjetas Raras y 2 tarjetas Comunes; entre ellas un Silver Shield Sentry, que es una de las tarjetas que más me llama la atención y quiero probarlas para ver si es buena y comprar copias para tenerla en nivel máximo. Con esto iba mejorando mi suerte.

Pack #4

In the fourth pack, 1 Epic card, 1 Rare card, and 3 Common cards; so in my gambling mindset, I thought my luck was continuing to improve, ready to open another pack.

En el cuarto pack, 1 tarjeta Épica, 1 tarjeta Rara y 3 tarjetas Comunes; por lo que en mi ludopatía pensaba que me seguía mejorando la suerte, listo para abrir otro pack.

Pack #5

In the fifth pack, I did not have better luck getting cards of better rarities outside of the guaranteed ones, but I did obtain another copy of Silver Shield Sentry and one of Magnificent Mollusk, which is a card with beautiful art.

En el quinto pack no tuve mejor suerte consiguiendo tarjetas de mejores rarezas fuera de las garantizadas, pero sí obtuve otra copia de Silver Shield Sentry y una de Magnificent Mollusk, que es una tarjeta con un arte bonito.

And for now, those will be all the packs I will open today, but they will not be the last, since as soon as the current season ends and I pay my rents, I will use the rest of my DEC and SPS to buy more Packs and test my luck until I get some special card.

Y por ahora serán todos los packs que abriré hoy, pero no serán los últimos, ya que apenas termine la temporada actual y pague mis rentas, usaré el resto de mis DEC y SPS para comprar más Packs y probar mi suerte hasta conseguir alguna tarjeta especial.
