This season, I want to focus more on the Survival format. Last season, due to scheduling and responsibilities, I could barely play this mode. To stay active and gather information on the most optimal way to climb leagues while avoiding the loss of too many cards, I will make regular posts about my progress, analyzing the methods used in my battles.

Esta temporada quiero concentrarme más en el formato Survival, ya que la temporada pasada por cuestión de horarios y responsabilidades no pude jugar casi a este modo. Para mantenerme activo en ese formato y recolectar información para probar qué es lo más óptimo para subir de ligas y evitar perder muchas tarjetas, quiero hacer publicaciones regulares de mi progreso analizando los métodos que usé en mis batallas.

I selected the same mode as last time, Automation Allowed – XI Expert, to ensure that battles could be found quickly and that matchmaking would be more balanced. To start, I let a few days pass without playing to avoid potential tryhards and bots with full collections or those who might lose cards as they are eliminated in battle.

Seleccioné el mismo modo que la vez anterior, Automation Allowed – XI Expert, para asegurarme de que se puedan encontrar batallas rápidamente y que el matchmaking fuera más equilibrado. Para empezar, dejé pasar unos días sin jugar para evitar a posibles tryhards y bots con todas las tarjetas a su disposición o que las vayan perdiendo al ser eliminadas en batallas.

I fought all my battles with my entire available collection. My intention for future seasons is to discover if it's better to use all available cards to climb quickly or to disable my most valuable, high-level cards and only use those with more copies and low-level Anchors. This season, I used all my cards without restriction due to a logistical issue: it's currently uncomfortable to manage enabling/disabling batches of different cards and levels. This will allow me to see how far I can climb before losing my key cards.

Hice todas mis batallas con toda mi colección disponible. Mi intención para futuras temporadas es descubrir qué es mejor para subir: si usar todas las tarjetas que tengo disponibles para subir rápidamente con la mayor facilidad, o deshabilitar mis tarjetas más valiosas y de mayores niveles para solo usar las que tengo más copias con Anchor de niveles bajos. Esta temporada usé todas mis tarjetas sin restricción, también por un problema logístico al no poder gestionar de manera cómoda habilitar y deshabilitar lotes de diferentes tarjetas y niveles, lo que me permitirá saber qué tanto puedo subir antes de perder mis tarjetas.

Bronze III to Bronze II | Bronce III a Bronce II

Starting today from Bronze III, I was able to reach Bronze II in 15 battles, losing 4 battles, which at first glance would mean I lost many cards, about 28 if they were full teams of 7 positions. But for that, I used a simple strategy: if I see that my enemy has or in their last battles used very good cards or from newer or older sets that I didn't know if I could beat, I use teams of Archons level 1 and reward cards from the Conclave Arcana set since I have many at level 1 or can get more. Although the most logical thing would be to make teams of 1 monster to only lose one card, since luck can make many battles unpredictable, I prefer to make a fairly coherent full team because I don't know if my enemy has the same intention of not facing me and uses few cards, or if luck accompanies me and can give me the victory due to RNG.

Empezando hoy desde Bronze III pude llegar a Bronze II en 15 batallas perdiendo 4 batallas lo que a primera vista significaría que perdí muchas tarjetas unas 28 si era equipos completos de 7 posiciones pero para eso use una estrategia sencillas si veo qe mi enemigo tiene o en sus ultimas batallas uso tarjetas muy buenas o de conjuntos mas nuevas o viejos de los que no sabía si podía vencerlo usa equipos de Archons de nivel 1 y tarjetas de recompensas del conjunto Conclave Arcana ya que tengo muchas nivel 1 o puedo conseguir mas aunque lo mas lógico seria hacer equipos de 1 monstruo para solo perder una tarjeta pero como la suerte puede hacer que muchas batallas no sean predecible prefiero hacer un equipo completo mediana coherente porque no se si mi enemigo tiene la misma intención de no enfrentarse a mi y usa pocas tarjetas o que la suerte me acompañe y me pueda dar la victoria por el RNG.

Ya en mi segunda batalla de la temporada tuve que usar esa táctica perdiendo algunos puntos de rango pero sacrificando una tarjetas que tengo muchas y no me afectaría a largo plazo.

Y en mi sexta batalla también tuve que usar esta táctica viendo que los avatars son una buena pista a la hora de enfrentar enemigos ya que muestran la capacidad de recursos que tienen.

But not all my defeats were intentional; obviously, I am not the best player, so I also lost my battles by focusing on strategies that did not predict how my opponent would face the battle, as in this battle.

Pero no todas mis derrotas fueron intecionadas obviamente yo no soy el mejor jugador por lo que tambien peedi mis batallas al enfocarme en estrategia que no predijeron como mi oponente afrontaria la batallas como en esta batalla.

Even so, this last battle was using the same strategy, but here I see that the matchmaking is quite aggressive, as in this battle against an opponent who surpassed me by more than 1000 ranking points in Survival. But it is not just a matter of points but of resources, since this opponent has GF and maximum level cards from both new and old sets.

Aun así esta esta ultima batalla fue usando la misma estrategia pero aquí veo que el matchmaking si es bastante agresivo como en esta batalla contra un oponente que me sobrepasaba con mas de 1000 puntos de rankings en Survival pero no es solo cuestión de puntos sino de recurso ya que este oponente tiene tarjetas GF y de máximo nivel tanto de conjunto nuevos como antiguos.

In this mode where being eliminated means you cannot use them for a while, cards with Taunt are lost quickly, so it is logical not to have to depend on it.

pero incluso obteniendo la victoria en las batallas igual perdi tarjetas como en esta batalla que perdi a Mycelic Slipspawn una tarjeta muy importante en otros modos de juego pero en este donde al ser eliminadas no puede usarlas por un tiempo las tarjetas con Taunt se pierden rápidamente por lo que es lógico el no tener que depender de ella.

y a pesar de ganar muchas tarjetas sin perder ninguna tarjetas tambien tuve batallas donde gane perdiendo muchas tarjetas incluso con algunas tarjetas claves para seguir jugando.

And even in my last battle, I lost a card, but with that loss, I managed to reach Bronze II, which is a small advance but helps me go up to see how far I can reach this season.

he incluso en mi ultima batalla perdi una tarjetas pero con esa perdida conseguir llegar a Bronze II con el que es un pequeño avance pero que me ayuda a ir subiendo para ver hasta donde puedo llegar esta temporada.

With only the arrival at Bronze II, I finished with 33 disabled cards, but even with some very important ones, I can test myself to see how far I can go.

Con solo la llegada a Bronze II terminen con 33 tarjetas deshabilitadas pero que incluso con algunas muy importantes me puedo probar a ver que tan lejos puedo llegar.

CONCLUSION

In this season with my goal of playing more and making the most of it, I will try to play everything I can these days until many of my strongest cards cannot be used and use them again when they are ready again. But while they are not available, I can put to the test how far I can go with my lower-level cards and how much the Survival matchmaking changes if I don't have many cards, and with this, be able to use that data for the next seasons.

En esta temporada con mi meta de jugar mas y sacarle le máximo provecho por lo que intentare jugar todo lo que pueda estos días hasta que muchas de mis tarjetas más fuertes no las pueda usar y volver a usarlas cuando ya estén listas nuevamente pero mientras no estn disponible puedo poner a prueba que tan lejos puedo llegar con mis tarjetas de mas bajo nivel y que tanto cambia el matchmaking de Survival si no tengo muchas tarjetas y con esto poder usar esos datos para las próximas temporadas.
