Have been playing splinterlands for over two years now and so many things are now becoming clearer day by day. One thing I realized recently is that not always about strategy You need money to compete at the highest level. With just 3500$ you will buy a full chaos legion regular deck and I know with that you should be able to play at the highest level in the modern league but there is a problem you always need better summoners to compete at the highest level and they are very costly.

One of the reasons I have not moved from diamond league 2 to diamond league one is because of the summoners, most times I came up against an opponent with the same strategy but different summoners and that has made the difference and we have some powerful monsters too that are very expensive which can single-handedly win the game but I don't have them and I can change my situation by renting.

Rent or not rent

Renting is very good and one of those things that make splinterlands so unique because you can't a very expensive monster for just a dime this has been some people's strategy and sometimes I use to feel I am missing out by not renting but I just like when I own a card instead of renting them, this don't make me comfortable. I know people
That runs multiple accounts on rent and they earn all of the profit for doing that but maybe because I don't know how that is why interested.

I believe I will still explore the rental market in the future immediately after I enter the champions league because I need to compete with some of the best decks at the top and to do this I will need extra power no doubt. I know I might not have the money to buy some of the best cards but the rentals will by then.

Will you rather rent or you will keep playing your deck like that?

3500$ is much higher for the common person and I think this game is only for rich people. There should be system like stat from small amount and you can reinvest the earning something like this so that small players can enjoy the game and earning.

3500$ is definitely too much and splinterlands is rewarding even for lower league players

I am currently just using my deck and I am not considering renting cards for use yet. It just doesn't seem to be worth it since I got a worthwhile deck with a decent win rate in my current league.

Playing in the lower league is not that difficult but at a higher level is like money against money

One has to rent a card or more to stay competitive, I rent at least a summoner every season even though I know I need to rent more I have to consider the cost and make do with what I have and rent the most necessary one for me.

Yes, exactly what I am saying is you need one or two summoners to strengthen your deck

To be sincere, I don't think it's worth renting to me. This is because I manage to do my best. I've qualified to play gold one but that place is brutal and so many players are pumping in money and making it difficult to compete, however, everyone needs an individual strategy to cope.
