Venue Updates

We have a 45-person limit to each instance introduced last DYGYCON 11. We will be helping the team at Inverse continue limit testing this feature as well as the mobile compatibility that currently works best with Android users. iOS users will have an unstable experience at this time. The team is also working on a new 3d asset commissioned by @splinterlands!

Password Removed?

Ever since we hosted the pre-party, we decided to leave the venue UNLOCKED. That also means you will continue to see outdated booths, rooms, and content. Is this good or bad? The idea behind setting a password was to only allow sponsors and vendors to explore and test the space while updating their booths and content accordingly. Some links were leftover from the previous events and could confuse attendees. What are your thoughts on this?

ConsumerBreak

ConsumerBreak is organizing the first "DYGYTRAIN" with a bunch of known veteran sponsors of DYGYCON! Please email [email protected] with your event title and preferred time slot so it can be added to this schedule.

We encourage attendees to move as a group to the next event and walk as a train of people to the next booth. A lot of the booths will also be streaming their events, so the Twitch will raid onto the next event's Twitch stream. Anything that is done inside a booth can be considered an event: an AMA about your project, screenshare demos, play games, make art, live stream anything and broadcast the booth and encourage viewers to come to the booth to speak.

We hope that this will draw more people to have somewhere to go as a group including shy people that just want to spectate, instead of random mingling and scattered events. It is also a great opportunity for booths to showcase their projects to the people that pass through during the time slot.

Archmage
