What is DYGYCON?

Hosted by @Splinterlands, DYGYCON is your fully immersive and interactive crypto metaverse event designed to bring the community together to showcase projects, investors, and influencers. The virtual platform used to host DYGYCON is created by @Gamerjibe, a metaverse company helping brands create their digital experiences.

The team

The very first DYGYCON occurred November 2020 with Carrie Allen and Chris Roberts. Throughout the year, we brought on cameraman Tanzo, staff member @bragurr, event coordinator @waffleskitty, outreach coordinator @iamdarrenclaxton, and @Gamerjibe staff and backup cameraman Pete.

Passing the torch

Since DYGYCON 3 back in May 2021, @Splinterlands brought in a new face to run DYGYCON events! @waffleskitty has entered the chat and is also known as Sarah Nguyen. Carrie Allen had been running the show along with her partner in crime, Chris Roberts, and have moved on into different roles, but their spirit and passion lives on from all the hard work, dedication, and energy put into creating these line of events.

What’s next for 2022?

We are always looking to make DYGYCON experiences better, valuable and most importantly fun for everyone! As DYGYCON events grow each event hosted bimonthly, you will continue to see new projects and crypto personalities along with a fresh set of SWAG, new activities, and talks with people you don’t want to miss out on.

We have updated the website chock full of information and highlights about the event, how to register, how to participate, and view an archive along with FAQ.

Looking for staff volunteers

More activities and fun experiences begin with an equipped staff and someone to provide waffles and milk tea to @waffleskitty and perks to those who want to get involved as a volunteer with the DYGYCON team. DYGYCON 7

Remember, DYGYCON is your gateway to crypto projects, talks, giveaways, and community networking! Get ready and RSVP to DYGYCON 7 happening January 21-23, 2022. 2022 Goals

This past year, we’ve gone through so much and we’re always improving each time. Despite rough edges and some technical issues here and there, we’ve been running successful events with each edition of DYGYCON and we’re proud to keep having these amazing fun experiences with you all.
