Since @thecryptodrive just sent us a sneak peak into the 3d Rocket launch planned for the early 2022 Splinterlands launch party in the @gamestate Megaverse via a comment on a post from earlier today, I decide to write a third post today taking a very quick look at this 3d Polygon Metaverse project sponsored by some of the same people who are essentially sponsors of Splinterlands too.

The launch of the Gamestate Megaverse MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in 2022 will feature a launch party for Splinterlands fans to celebrate in the Gamestate WAGMI stadium, followed by the launch of an actual 3D rocket to the moon to commemorate the event.

MetaMundo: A 3d Marketplace for the Metaverse.

MetaMundo (https://metamundo.co/), the 3D NFT marketplace for building the metaverse, announced today it has raised $2.7 million in seed funding. The round was led by Animoca Brands, a global figurehead in gamification and blockchain, with participation from Hypersphere Ventures, Digital Currency Group (DCG), OP Crypto, Metacartel Ventures, Marshland Capital, Own.fund, Polygon Studios, Ascensive Assets, Sfermion, D1 Ventures, Cryptomeria Capital, Red Beard Ventures and Metacollective. The raise includes angel investments from the founder(s) of AAVE, Rarible, WilderWorld, Nifty Island, Property's Digital Ventures and MetaPortal. The advisors to MetaMundo include Jon Radoff (CEO of Beamable and author of Building the Metaverse), Eric Arsenault (RaribleDAO, YGG and VentureDAO), Jin (DankVR) and Metadreamer (MetaFactory).

All these investors and only 2.7 Million raised? Seems like a low figure but perhaps that is the power of decentralization which allows for open source environments and most importantly interoperability!

"Interoperability is an essential feature of the open metaverse," said Yat Siu, the executive chairman and co-founder of Animoca Brands. "MetaMundo is creating a network of 3D creators and tools that make it possible to build the multiple emerging open metaverse environments that we envision as the future of digital experience."
MetaMundo's platform and technology embolden architects, designers, and 3D creators to mint, sell and license their 3D assets for use across open metaverses and VR/AR applications, including Decentraland, Cryptovoxels, Somnium Space, and Spatial. Using a suite of 3D model conversion tools, the platform takes an original 3D file from the creator and optimizes it for each metaverse. The collection of optimized files is then minted as one NFT, enabling ownership of one asset for any metaverse. MetaMundo also optimizes these files to ensure they work with each new environment.

While @splinterlands seems to just be promotional partner for @gamestate, the Metaverse based on the Polygon blockchain, there is some clear connections from Hive into the Polygon Metaverse that absolutely screams interoperability between Hive's second Layer and Polygon. Probably nothing. Maybe just go back to buying quest lotions, packs and wait to see what the 3d rocket does. Maybe we can just hitch a ride. I mean waiting to see what Splinterlands NFTs does and watching people become millionaires off them was def the right move right? Watching other people become successful is fun I will admit...
