Splinterlands Weekly Battle challenge : My battle with MAGI OF CHAOS
Hello Everyone.
Another week and another weekly battle challenge from splinterlands. This week splinterlands set a weekly battle challenge with MAGI OF CHAOS.
In this post I am going to share my battle and will explain my monster position and every round. I am also going to share my monster abilities and why I used them in this battle. Hope everyone will enjoy this battle and my explanations.
Splinterlands challenges all players to play with a specific monster each week. This challenge helps them to earn a vote from splinterlands or steemmonsters. To earn a vote from splinterlands a player has to follow the rules given by splinterlands. Every week splinterlands post about the rules.

- Have to share a battle with MAGI OF CHAOS.
- Have to share a post or video about the battle.
- Have to share it on any social media like Facebook, Twitter etc.
- Must use the splinterlands tag in the post.
NOTE: IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONSTER YOU COULD RENT IT OR SHARE ANY BATTLE WITH ANY MONSTER.

1. Fog of War: Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
Because of this rule my monsters can't attack if it is not in the first position though he has to sneak or snipe ability. I had to keep this rule in my mind at selecting my monsters.
2. Keep Your Distance: Monsters with Melee attacks may not be used in battles.
Because of this rule I could not select any melee-attacking monster. That means The previous rule was useless for this battle.
Mana Cap.
Mana cap for the battle was 99. That means it was a high mana cap battle I could 6 monsters total under 99 mana cap.

In this portion of my post, I'm going to share why I used a specific monster in a specific position. And also going to share the details of my cards level and their abilities.
Ok, Let's start.
Summoner.Delwyn Dragonscale
It is a common dragon summoner of the promo edition monster. I increase one magic attack of all the monsters.
- I used a level 4 gold Delwyn Dragonscale monster for this battle. Most of the monsters in this battle was a magic-attacking monster so I selected this monster. And to get more focus points I used the Gold promo monster in this battle. It cost me 4 mana for this battle.
Monsters.
1.Prismatic Energy.
Prismatic Energy is a Rare Neutral Reward edition monster. It has 10 life and magic-reflecting abilities. It cost me 8 mana for this battle. It also has 1 magic attack.
- Because of the Magic-reflecting ability I liked to select it for this battle. I knew that opponent will come with some magic attacking monster or ranged attacking monsters because of the battle rules. This magic-reflecting ability helps me in battle a lot. I used level 3 Prismatic Energy.
2.Chaos Dragon.
Chaos Dragon is a Legendary dragon monster of chaos edition. It has Flying and Scattershot ability and cost 14 mana and 4 shields. It has 3 magic attacks.
- As I chose dragon summoner I had a choice of dragon monsters. I had some high mana dragon monsters which I mainly use for high mana cap battles. This battle was a high mana battle so I used it and one of the reasons for selecting this monster was the scattershot ability. It will hit a random monster in every round.
3.River Hallondale.
River Hallondale is a legendary water monster from the chaos edition. It also has 3
magic attack. The speciality of this monster is its Resurrect ability. That means could bring back a dead monster with 1 life. I used level 1 chaos dragon and It cost 7 mana and has 4 life and a shield.
- Because of the Resurrect ability I used this monster in the battle. This battle brought back my Prismatic Energy.
4.Djinn Oshannus.
It is also a Legendary water monster from the chaos edition. It cost 8 mana and has 10 life and 2 magic attacks.
- This monster has voidability it has less damage in the magic attacks. Because of the battle rules, This card was very helpful for me. I used level one Djinn for this battle. I used level 1 Djinnn Oshannus.
5.Magi Of Chaos.
This was the monster I had to use in the battle challenge battle. This is a Neutral epic monster from the chaos edition. I used level 2 Magi of chaos. It cost 6 mana and has 6 life with 2 magic attacks. It doesn't have any ability at levels 1 to 6.
- I used this monster at 5th position because of its low life. Its magic attack helps me in the battle but I think if it had some ability then it could be a great monster.
6.Zyvax Vuul.
This is a Legendary dragon monster from Chaos edition. It cost 8 mana. I used level 2 Zyvax in this battle. Level 2 Zyvax has Flying, Recharge and Close Range attacking abilities.
- That was the only monster with ranged attacking ability because of that I used it at the last position. Its abilities were also one of the reasons for selecting these monsters.
There was a total of 7 rounds in this battle. Now I am describing what happened in each round.
Beginning
At the beginning of this round, the summoner and the monsters applied their special abilities. My summoner increased 1 Magic attack of my monsters.
Ending
The opponent had Wave Brood so most of my monsters hit it till its death except PrismaticDragon Energy and chaos dragon. In the first round opponent lost one monster who had a healing ability. But my prismatic energy just had 2 life at the end of the first round.
Beginning
My Zyvax Vuul charged to take 3x damage at his next hit. But at the beginning of this round, My prismatic energy died and River Hellondele brought back him with 1 life.
Ending
Before ending g this round opponent lost its Wave Brood and I lost Prismatic Energy.

Here You can see both of us lost almost half of our monsters at round 3. My Chaos Dragon also died in this round.

At the beginning of this round, I lost River Hellondale.
Ending
This time opponent didn't lose any monsters but most of them were has just a little life.

In this round opponent lost his Djinn and my Djinn had just 5 life. In this round, my djinn lost 4 life.

In this round, Zyvax did a great job. It damages 3x at the beginning.
Ending
Here my opponent almost lost his monsters.

Opponents miss an attack.
Ending
Magi of chaos and Zyvax killed the remaining monsters in this round.
That was an easy match. But I was lucky enough. If my monster didn't kill the Merdaali Guardian the result could be different.
