I finished two quests in quick successions and finally, I started earning DEC. These days it has become so hard to win on Splinterlands.

I saw a picture showing how much Splinterlands had grown to now accommodate close to 600k people with such an increase I think they thought it right to only reward early adopters with DEC by reducing the reward pool for lower ranks like Bronze II and less.

Rented Cards

I used them to move to higher ranks, now I'm currently in Bronze II and I'm climbing up fast to bronze I where my collecting power stops. Because some of my cards are rented I won't earn the reward for that session if I don't buy new cards or rent again.

One card I am currently enjoying is Chanseus the great for those games with High mana caps. His abilities are just top-notch but that mana cap requires 99 to really have a clear win. I rented him for 14 DEC per day for 7 days. In a few days, he'll be returned back to @peddypeddler.

I have tried using him on low mana games and I think I have lost all of them, that's if the player I was playing against didn't bail or surrender.

His story

If I had to write a story about him, I would say Shieldbearer is his brother or at least his brother in arms. The fact that Shieldbearer takes hits and Chanseus heals armor, brings cards from the dead, and heals HP damage just makes me feel they usually fight together while lesser cards act as distractions in their battles together.

But lesser cards have to still be big guns also. I use the big tank Goblin Mech as a diversion. With Chanseus and a healer like Venari Crystalsmith by their side...the team is ready unstoppable but it is worth 29 mana.

I like to assure my win with extra protection from Truthspeaker or Silvershield Knight.

Hope your Splinterland session is going superbly as mine right now...Although I am learning that there are different sessions...like when Americans are actively playing and they kick ass...But I suspect some people use bots cause broooo...some wins are mad!!
