The ruleset for this match up was Holy Protection and Odd Ones Out with a mana limit of 17.

Team line up and strategy

So since this weekly is with Lava Spider and in this match-up everyone has divine shield, I don't have anything with blast. So since spider has poison that can proc even tough I wont do damage on the first hit, if the poison procs that's still 2 damage.

So now that I'm talking about poison, I went for Uraeus as well. Since Uraeus has poison as well and you see as the Lava spider that would be 2 damage from poison and a shield proc.

Now as there's not that much mana I used 2 1 mana monsters. Radiated Scorcher in the front to potentially get a hit in and soak some damage and Chaos Agent in the back to potentially do backfire damage on whoever will attack it (also protecting my spider from any harm).

Now I still had 5 mana to spend, I used it on the Radiated Brute as she has enrage and if my opponent would go for a bigger tank minion I would actually be able to deal with it.

Combat

So as you can see he was using Tenyii Striker, so I will have protection from that. He actually misses his first attack with Tenyii and will break his own shield. So I didn't need Uraeus to proc it. But actually both my Lava Spider and Uraeus procced their poison, so it actually both did what I hoped for as shown below.

In the second round he will only take down my shields and deal 2 damage to my brute. The poisons doing some extra damage to be able to finish the Goblin Shaman for sure. The Tenyii will fall this round as well as his dodge didn't help him at all this match.

The ooze gets taken down by my Brute and then all is left is the Serpentine Spy. The Serpentine doesn't have enough damage to take out my Brute, leaving it at 1 health. My Lava Spider actually misses but my Uraeus takes down the shield. Only leaving him with a Serpentine not having any chance in round 4.

As the Brute is faster and no way to miss the attack I take the victory.
