Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ˜„

It was a nice surprise to find out that the monster of the weekly challenge was Deeplurker, because I use him quite often unlike the Lava Spider of the previous challenge. Having said that, I already had bought some Gold Foil copies and leveled him up to 5 (Silver League Cap).

He has Opportunity since level 1 and acquires Poison (6) and Demoralize on Max level for 6 Mana cost. I think he is good on position 3-4-5 (6 is ok too).

Since he is very versatile, you can use this Card in most of the Rule Sets and he is very useful to kill the support monsters (tank healers, ranged, mages etc.), but I will try to number a few that he would perform better.

Explosive Weaponry: in this rule set is very important to strike first and try to kill the monsters as fast as possible since the damage will spread to adjacent units. Deep Lurker has Good Speed and Opportunity ability gives him the chance do hit the monster in the middle of the opponent formation.

Up Close and Personal & (or) Fog of War: since Melee monsters can only hit in the 1st position unless it has Reach, Sneak or Opportunity ability, Lurker is a good option to not be useless in the backline and being able to damage the opponent's backline since Snipe or Sneak aren't available in Fog of War.

The Battle

It was hard to choose a single battle to share, but the one I'm going to comment was a close one and at the start I thought I was going to lose.

Rules Set was Holy Protection + Heavy Hitters with 99 Mana Cap.

The Strategy

The Tank: Almighty Baakjira giving +1 HP to all friendly monsters and slowing the enemy down.

Secondary Tank: I noticed that my opponent used Yodin Zaku a few times and some Llama + Kron in the last 5 battles. So I decided to put Legionnaire Alvair for the Giant Killer ability and strong armor to absorb the Blast damage.

3rd and 4th Position: there isn't much to say, Oshannus and Nerissa was there to make the heavy damage.

5th Position: River Hellondale just for the Inspire and Ressurect ability, since his damage and HP are so low, I was afraid to put him in 6th position and die before using Ressurect.

6th Position: Deep Lurker! 99% of Yodin strategies relies on Ranged monsters, but most of these units has low HP or are reachable only with Sneak or Opportunity. For this reason Deeplurker was perfect for this situation!

Luckily it wasn't Close Range Rule Set and Cornealus was helpless to defend himself.
