For the Share your Battle ⚔️ of this week let's talk about an Epic card: Nerissa Tridawn! I'd rate her as a card 7/10 in Gold league level, she is a decent card, but it will be useful only in some specific situations. I'd recommend having her in your deck, but not a priority!

Small part of the Lore

 Nerissa is a proud warrior of the water. Armed with her enchanted trident, she defends the seas, the rivers, and the lakes. She is well known across coastal villages, and they often call on her for help. She has slain great sea beasts that would otherwise kill everyone in their path. She has rescued sailors from hurricanes, and even warned villages of incoming tsunamis to save lives. Her bravery and brilliance in battle have led to her being called Nerissa the Hurricane.

Para o Share your Battle ⚔️ desta semana, vamos falar sobre uma carta épica: Nerissa Tridawn! Eu a classificaria como uma carta 7/10 no nível da liga Ouro, ela é uma carta decente, mas será útil apenas em algumas situações específicas. Eu recomendaria tê-la em seu deck, mas não uma prioridade!

 Nerissa é uma orgulhosa guerreira da água. Armada com seu tridente encantado, ela defende os mares, os rios e os lagos. Ela é bem conhecida nas aldeias costeiras e eles costumam pedir ajuda a ela. Ela matou grandes feras marinhas que, de outra forma, matariam todos em seu caminho. Ela resgatou marinheiros de furacões e até alertou aldeias sobre a chegada de tsunamis para salvar vidas. Sua bravura e brilhantismo na batalha a levaram a ser chamada de Nerissa, a Furacão.

Abilities: None
Usabilty: medium to high mana battles where you need to spend as much mana as possible or even in Noxious Fumes due to her high HP!
Best Summoners: since I'm considering only Modern format, she will synergyze better with Kelya Frendul and Possibilus (with +2 HP she will heal for 4 HP!)
Best Position: 4th to 6th position, I usually use her in 4th or 5th, because the last position is probably a ranged monsters!
Strengths: good attack power and high HP.
Weakness: high mana cost, slow speed, no armor or abilities.
Best Ruleset: Back to basics and Wands Out.
Worst Ruleset: Counterspell

Melhores invocadores: como estou considerando apenas o formato Moderno, ela terá uma sinergia melhor com Kelya Frendul e Possibilus (com +2 HP ela curará 4 HP!)

Melhor Posição: 4ª a 6ª posição, eu costumo usar ela na 4ª ou 5ª, porque a última posição provavelmente é um ranged monsters!

Pontos fortes: bom poder de ataque e alto HP.

Fraqueza: alto custo de mana, baixa velocidade, sem armadura ou habilidades.

Melhor Conjunto de Regras: De volta ao básico e Varinhas em punho.

Below you can check the most relevant upgrades. In short: you can use her at level 1 in Bronze and Silver. However, in Gold and Diamond+ it is worth it to put her at level 4 and 6 respectively due to the extra attack power.

For this challenge I picked a tournament battle in Gold league + Modern Format with CL + RW editions allowed. The rules were: 99 Mana + Close Range + Briar Patch + Aimless with all elements Fire, Water and Death splinters available. In 99 Mana I usually focus to spend as much mana as possible, but also combining them as well.

General Strategy: high mana monsters with just a few being melee due to the Thorns ruleset.

Summoner: Kelya was my best option since I don't have Jacek and Aquatus wouldn't be that great.

Main + Secondary Tank: Even against thorns Diemonshark will perform well due to his 6 points of armor. Although Flying Squid doesn't have any armor, his Blind ability affects the whole enemy team and his high HP will resist a little against thorns.

Nerissa Tridawn + Runemancer Kye: damage dealers and Kye can also become a powerful tank after she increases her HP with Life Leech ability. Besides that her Fury ability can be very useful against monsters like Coeurl Lurker, Night Ghoul or Wave Brood that my enemy will probably pick!

Sea Stalker: great to deal damage and also cleanse some possible negative effects such as: slow or poison.

Wave Brood: it is great to split my opponent's attack with Taunt ability. So many times a monster with melee + reach is targeting my 1st position, while the rest hit Wave Brood taking them much more time to be killed!

Para este desafio escolhi uma batalha de torneio na Liga Ouro + Formato Moderno com edições CL + RW permitidas. As regras eram: 99 Mana + Close Range + Briar Patch + Aimless com todos os elementos Fire, Water e Death splters disponíveis. Em 99 Mana eu costumo focar em gastar o máximo de mana possível, mas também combiná-los.

Estratégia Geral: monstros de alta mana com apenas alguns sendo corpo a corpo devido ao conjunto de regras Thorns.

Invocador: Kelya era minha melhor opção, já que não tenho Jacek e Aquatus não seria tão bom.

Tanque Principal + Secundário: Mesmo contra espinhos, Diemonshark terá um bom desempenho devido aos seus 6 pontos de armadura. Embora o Flying Squid não tenha nenhuma armadura, sua habilidade Blind afeta toda a equipe inimiga e seu alto HP resistirá um pouco contra os espinhos.

Nerissa Tridawn + Runemancer Kye: causadores de danos e Kye também podem se tornar um tanque poderoso depois que ela aumenta seu HP com a habilidade Life Leech. Além disso, sua habilidade Fury pode ser muito útil contra monstros como Coeurl Lurker, Night Ghoul ou Wave Brood que meu inimigo provavelmente escolherá!

Sea Stalker: ótimo para causar dano e também limpar alguns possíveis efeitos negativos como: lentidão ou veneno.

Wave Brood: é ótimo dividir o ataque do meu oponente com a habilidade Taunt. Tantas vezes um monstro com corpo a corpo + alcance está mirando na minha 1ª posição, enquanto o resto atingiu o Wave Brood levando muito mais tempo para serem mortos!

Highlights/Destaques

• I had a bad start, Djinn Inferni attacked Runemancer Kye and killed her in a single attack, huge loss!

• In the 2nd round Diemonshark killed Coeurl Lurker and trampled Magi Of Chaos causing a big impact to my enemy lineup.Not only that he also dodged Molten Ash Golem, allowing him to survive another round and finish him in round 3.

• Although, the battle was looking bad at the start, in the end I still had 3 monsters alive: Nerissa Tridawn, Wave Brood and Sea Stalker, her ability Camouflage is a great counter against Jacek scattershot, since they won't target her unless she reaches 1st position!

• Tive um péssimo começo, Djinn Inferni atacou Runemancer Kye e a matou em um único ataque, grande perda!

• Na 2ª rodada, Diemonshark matou Coeurl Lurker e pisoteou Magi Of Chaos, causando um grande impacto na minha linha inimiga.

• Embora a batalha parecesse ruim no início, no final eu ainda tinha 3 monstros vivos: Nerissa Tridawn, Wave Brood e Sea Stalker, sua habilidade Camouflage é um ótimo contra-ataque contra Jacek scattershot, já que eles não a atingirão a menos que ela alcança a 1ª posição!
