Splinterlands - Ranking Chaos Legion Summoners!

For the social media challenge of this week I’m going to rank the Chaos Legion summoners considering Gold league 🏅 level! There are just 8 of them in total, for this reason I’ll explain one by one my choices.

Para o desafio de mídia social desta semana, vou classificar os invocadores da Legião do Caos considerando o nível da liga Ouro 🏅 ! São apenas 8 no total, por isso vou explicar um a um as minhas escolhas/motivos.

General Sloan: why Sloan is the weakest CL summoner?

• Bad synergy with the rest of the Chaos Legion set and not versatile at all! You’ve probably been in this situation before where 70% to 100% of your lineup it wasn’t a ranged card, but you had only Sloan available. Not only that, Life monsters really needs something to increase their survivability such as: armor (Tyrus Paladium/Grandmaster Rathe/Peakrider), Divine Shield (Lorna Shine) or extra Speed (Ilthain), all of these summoners mentioned are stronger/better than Sloan, making him a very situational monster!
• Easily countered by Quix the Devious and it also receives the debuff of -1 Speed making Sloan useless in this kind of match.
• It is risky to use more than 2 ranged attack monsters in a battle, since they won’t be able to attack in the first position unless the rule set allows or with close range ability.
• Ranged attack type is weaker than Magic and less versatile than melee type that can sneak, strike in the first position or use opportunity from any position.
• Monsters that you want in your lineup to diminish Sloan weakness: Time Mage (Rust and Slow abilities are awesome!), Pelacor Conjurer + Dax Paragon (good and cheap tanks), Supply Runner (similar as Time Mage, but receives the buff of Sloan), Tower Griffin and/or Defender of Truth.
• Best Rule Sets: Close Range, Little League and Keep your Distance.
• Worst Rule Sets: Broken Arrows, Equal Opportunity, Up Close & Personal.

General Sloan: por que Sloan é o invocador da Legião do Caos que considero mais fraco?

• Sinergia ruim com o resto do conjunto Chaos Legion e nada versátil! Você provavelmente já esteve nessa situação antes, onde 70% a 100% da sua escalação não era uma carta à distância, mas você tinha apenas Sloan disponível. Além disso, os monstros Life realmente precisam de algo para aumentar sua capacidade de sobrevivência, como: armadura (Tyrus Paladium/Grandmaster Rathe/Peakrider), Divine Shield (Lorna Shine) ou Speed ​​extra (Ilthain), todos esses invocadores mencionados são mais fortes/melhores que Sloan, tornando-o um monstro muito situacional!
• Facilmente combatido por Quix the Devious e também recebe o debuff de -1 Speed ​​tornando Sloan inútil nesse tipo de partida.

• Piores Conjuntos de Regras: Setas Quebradas, Igualdade de Oportunidades, De Perto e Pessoal.

Tarsa has a similar problem as General Sloan: the lack of armor and/or speed makes Fire element hard to compete against Water 🐳 or Earth 🌲 since Kelya can provide armor and Queen Mycelia as well with her Protect ability.
Although she has good synergy with Fire monsters, being very useful to maximize their power and create nice team compositions, she will struggle to against a faster team or magic attacks.

Conqueror Jacek provides great stats: +2 Speed and Piercing, however, the Scattershot ability in my opinion makes him weaker and the strategies less solid. The focus fire is very important in most of the battles. For this reason he will probably work better with melee than ranged/magic monsters.

Tarsa tem um problema semelhante ao General Sloan: a falta de armadura e/ou velocidade torna o elemento Fogo difícil de competir contra Água ou Terra, já que Kelya pode fornecer armadura e Rainha Mycelia também com sua habilidade de Proteção.
Embora ela tenha uma boa sinergia com os monstros de fogo, sendo muito útil para maximizar seu poder e criar boas composições de equipe, ela lutará contra um time mais rápido ou ataques mágicos.

Conqueror Jacek fornece ótimos atributos: +2 Velocidade ​​e Perfurar, porém, a habilidade Espalhar na minha opinião o torna mais fraco e as estratégias menos sólidas. O foco de fogo é muito importante na maioria das batalhas. Por esta razão, ele provavelmente funcionará melhor com monstros corpo a corpo do que monstros mágicos/à distância.

He is a great counter against summoners that focus on magic attack type such as: Alric Stormbringer, Obsidian, Delwyn Dragonscale and Valnamor. Besides that he will make the low HP monsters more squishy with his -1 HP.
In general he is very versatile and synergyzes well with the Death deck, but the lack of armor makes him hard to compete against a Kelya team and the -1 magic debuff might be useless in some rule sets such as Lost Magic and when the opponents don’t use any magic monster.

Ele é uma ótima opção para se defender contra invocadores que focam no tipo de ataque mágico como: Alric Stormbringer, Obsidian, Delwyn Dragonscale e Valnamor. Além disso, ele deixará os monstros de baixo PV ❤️ mais baixos ainda com seu -1 HP.

Em geral, ele é muito versátil e sinergiza bem com o deck da Morte, mas a falta de armadura o torna difícil de competir contra um time Kelya e o debuff mágico de -1 pode ser inútil em alguns conjuntos de regras, como Lost Magic e quando os oponentes não não use nenhum monstro mágico.

As mentioned before: magic attack is the strongest type in the game since it ignores armor and it is also the fastest in the attack order.
Obsidian has great synergy with the Earth deck and it is very easy to create a good lineup with mages.

Unlike Thaddius, Obsidian won’t have the problem of wasting her buff of +1 Magic power since it doesn’t rely on the opponent’s decision and only on you to pick monsters with magic attack type.

Como mencionado anteriormente: o ataque mágico é o tipo mais forte do jogo, pois ignora a armadura e também é o mais rápido na ordem de ataque.

Obsidian tem grande sinergia com o deck da Terra e é muito fácil criar uma boa formação com magos.
Ao contrário de Thaddius, Obsidian não terá o problema de desperdiçar seu buff de +1 poder de magia, pois não depende da decisão do oponente e apenas de você escolher monstros com tipo de ataque mágico.

At first the -1 Speed and -1 Ranged Attack doesn’t look so amazing, right? However, buffs like Speed, HP or attack power are always useful! And slowing your opponent down will affect all of his monsters. However, the -1 Ranged Attack is not that great for the same reason of the -1 Magic of Thaddius, it can be useless in rule sets like Broken Arrows and not facing any ranged monsters.

Inicialmente a velocidade -1 e o ataque à distância -1 não parecem tão incríveis, certo? No entanto, os benefícios de ganhar ou reduzir velocidade, PVs ❤️ ou poder de ataque são sempre úteis!
