Bloodlust saved the day

This is my first report of from the recent brawl that I participated with my other guild member, and after the guild managed to upgrade one of the building, thanks to the one and only whale in the guild @cherokee4life, somehow we end up with a different type of opponent, as they seems to be quite strong. They also seems to have a lot better cards, especially the Gladiator one.

And just like most of the gladiator cards, the bloodlust ability is the extra awesome ability that they poses which could affect the final result of the battle. And this time that ability saved the day, and help me come out victorious on that battle. Look at the line-up below.

Opponent Team

• Archon - Aurelia from the Earth Element
• Tank - Dead Tafarian with Heal ability
• Second tank - Mad Gear Head with reach
• Vengeful Monk - Opportunity
• Gladiator Card - Katrelba Gobson with Sneak, Bloodlust, and Double Strike
• Vicious Quilliun - Opportunity
• Back line - New Beluroc Aegiss

My Team

• Archon - Barthalamas from the Fire Element
• Tank - Frankasgard
• Second tank - Gladious Card Chimney Wallstop, with, bloodlust and Reach
• Vengeful Monk - Opportunity
• Ember Roast Sow - Sneak
• Sturdy Axe Warden - Range Attackers
• Back line - New Beluroc Aegiss

That battle was with 52 Mana Cap, Rise of the common, and Aim True Ruleset.

And when I saw, Katrelba was in their line up, I decided to skip the battle, since I believe that I was well beaten. But to my surprise I came out victorious, and decided to rewatch the battle.

Round 1

On round one everyone was still alive, thanks to the shield that the tank and Taunt of the New Beluroc Aegis have.

Round 2

Things gets exciting on round two. My backline, New Aegis Beluroc was taken out by Katrelba, and with that she gain more power and speed thanks to the killing blow and the bloodlust was activated. The samething happened to my Chimney Wallstop, gain extra power and speed after taking out Dead Tafarian, the opponent main tank.

Round 3

Katrelba and my Chimney, both gain more stat in round 3. Katrelba taking out my Axewarden, and my Chimney taking out Mad Gearhead.

Round 4

Katrelba taking out my Vengeful Monk, and my Chimney taking out my opponet Vengeful Monk. My opponent has the advantage from Katrelba Double Strike, as she still deals another attack to my Chimney After Taking out my Monk.

Round 5

At this round, my chance of winning was so slim. With my Chimney is the only card that left on my side, while my opponent still has Katrelba, and Quilliun on their side. Double Strike from Katrelba, alredy reduce the health of my Chimney down to 1.

Here is where the bloodlust saved the day. After Katrelba attack, it was my Chimney turn to attack. and with his killing blow, it tokok out Katrelba, and with the Bloodlust he gained another health and also another shield.

So at the end of round 5, when Quilliun turns to attack, he only take out the shield. If only my Chimney didn't gain more health and shield by the end of this round Quilliun will take out Chimney and i will lose the game.

Round 6 - Ends

Well, that 9 Melle Attack finish the job for Chimney and helped me secured to victory that day.
