Hello Splinter Fanatics!

The pre-sale of the Rebellion packs is now available and more than half of the 500,000 packs available were sold within just a few hours of opening. This shows how relevant Splinterlands is to the community, and its long history of solid Blockchain gaming gives players/investors the confidence to continue believing in the project.

The pre-sale will last 30 days, at the time of writing there are about 25 days left. Each pack costs 4000 DEC/Credit + 5 Vouchers, which will be the same price as the general sale when the pre-sale ends. But purchasing them before the general sale will give holders a number of bonuses and advantages.

One of them is the possibility of winning extra packs by buying 100, 500 or 2000 at the cost of a few Vouchers. In addition, you'll be eligible for two new promotional cards, one rare and one legendary. To secure the rare monster, you'll need to buy 10 packs and the legendary monster you'll need to buy 100 packs.

I generally prefer to buy cards on the market, rather than buying packs and risking my luck. And that's because buying directly from the market allows you to buy the cards you want and that will be most useful in battle.

Even so, I like to buy a few packs to try my luck and also be eligible for future airdrops, even if I only buy a few packs. For example, I bought 11 Riftwachters packs during the pre-sale and had never won an airdrop, but in the last airdrop, I was surprised by the legendary monster IMMOLATION, in Gold Foil.

What's more, there's even the slim chance of winning a Goil Foil legendary card when you open the packs. I've never sold any packs, I always enjoy the feeling of opening them and sometimes I'm surprised by good cards to complete my collection.

In order not to miss out on the pre-sale, I decided to buy 10 packs with DEC and vouchers I had in my account, but I wish I had the money to buy 100 packs. By the end of the pre-sale, if all the packs aren't finished, I plan to buy at least 10 more packs, making 20 packs.

The new cards in the Rebellion Edition have a new, more sophisticated and futuristic frame. In addition, new gameplay is being implemented in Splinterlands, such as new abilities, dual element Summoners and Summoners that allow you to choose buffs and debuffs after all monsters have been presented on the battlefield. All of this is very exciting and shows just how much this edition will change Splinterlands.

The only thing that bothers me is saying goodbye to the Untamed Edition, as I have a special appreciation for this collection and its powerful monsters and summoners. When the Rebellion Edition becomes available to open packs on December 5, we'll be saying goodbye to this incredible collection in the Mordeno format.

However, it will still be available in the Bot format. As the rewards are lower in this Bot format, the value of these cards is already being driven down and there will be less liquidity for these cards. Unfortunately, since I only play Modern, I've already gotten rid of many of my Untamed cards.

Perhaps this is a point where the Splinterlands team is going wrong, because in the long run this way the older editions are always devalued. Logically, the older cards should always be more expensive than the newer ones, but this way, with the loss of liquidity and demand, they end up being forgotten.

The older cards will be very important in the lands, as they have more production points. Perhaps their importance in the development of the Lands compensates for this fact, but even so I'm unhappy with this dynamic, which at least in ranked battles doesn't please me or many others.

A pré-venda dos packs Rebellion já estão disponíveis e foram vendidos mais da metade dos 500 mil packs disponível, em apenas poucas horas após a abertura. Isso mostra o quanto Splinterlands é relevante perante a comunidade, seu longo historico de jogo sólido na Blockchain dar confiança aos jogadores/investidores a continuar acreditando no projeto.

A pré-venda durará 30 dias, no momento em que escrevo restam cerca de 25 dias. Cada pack custa 4000 DEC/Credit + 5 Vouchers, que será o mesmo preço da venda geral, quando a pré-venda for finalizada. Mas, adquirí-los antes da venda geral dará aos detentores uma série de bonus e vantagens.

Uma delas é possibilidade de ganhar packs extras comprando 100, 500 ou 2000 ao custo de alguns Vouchers. Além disso, será elegível a dois novos cards promocionais, um raro e outro lendário, para garantir o monstro raro é necessário comprar 10 packs e o monstro lendário comprar 100 packs.

Para não ficar de fora da pré-venda resolvi comprar 10 packs, com DEC e vouchers que tinha em minha conta, mas gostaria de ter dinheiro para comprar 100 packs. Até o final da pré-venda se todos os packs não terminarem prentendo comprar pelo menos mais 10 packs, completando assim 20 packs.

As novas cartas da Edição Rebellion possuem uma nova moldura mais sofisticada e futuristica. Além disso, uma nova jogabilidade estará sendo implementada em Splinterlands, como novas habilidades, Invocadores dual elemento e Invocadores que permitiram escolher buffs e debuffs depois que todas os monstros forem apresentados no campo de batalha. Tudo isso, é muito empolgante e mostra quanto essa edição mudará Splinterlands

A única coisa que me incomodar é dar adeus a Edição Untamed, pois tenho um apreço especial por essa coleção e por possui monstros e invocadores poderosos. Quando a Edição Rebellion estiver disponível para abertura dos packs, em 5 de dezembro, daremos adeus a essa incrível coleção no formato Mordeno.

Porém, no formato dos Bots ela ainda estará disponível. Como nesse formato Bot as recompensas são menores, o valor dessas cartas já esta sendo precionado para baixo e haverá um menor liquidez para essas cartas. Eu infelizmente como só jogo no formato Moderno já me desfiz de muitas das minhas cartas Untamed.

Talvez esse seja um ponto em que a equipe Splinterlands esteja errando, pois no longo prazo dessa forma as edições mais antigas são sempre desvalorizadas. O que por lógica as cartas mais antigas deveriam ser sempre mais caras que as mais recentes, mas dessa forma com a perca de liquidez e demanda essas cartas acabam sendo esquecidas.

As cartas mais antigas terão um grande importância nas lands, pois possuem maiores pontos de produção. Talvez sua importância no desenvolvimento das Lands compensem esse fato, mas mesmo assim eu fico descontente com essa dinâmica, que ao menos nas batalhas ranqueadas não agrada a mim e a muitos.
