Hello, Splinters Fanatics!

Another week has passed and we're back for another Battle Mage Secrets, a weekly challenge where several players share their strategies based on a set of rules and their opponent's battle history.

The Ruleset Up Close and Personal restricts the battle to Melee damage monsters only. In this situation, it is favorable to choose monsters with a lot of Armor, with the Ability Thorns and Shield. Also, choose summoners with increased or reduced Melee attack.

However, there are some monsters that have two attack types that can be scaled in this situation. Quora Towershead, War Chaang, Oaken Behemoth and Oaken Behemoth are all monsters with two attack types and can be seen in the battle below. In this battle you can see the use of the Summoner Mylor, which grants Thorns to all allies, monsters with the ability Shield, monsters with two types of attack and monsters that increase and/or decrease damage Melee.

Rather than mentioning the best cards to use in battle, a practical way was to show a screenshot of an interesting battle, which used many of the triggers mentioned above.

The battle took place in the Gold League, in Morden mode, and featured the following Rule Set: Aim True, Up Close and Personal and Earthquake. In addition, the elements Water, Earth and Dragon were available and there was only 26 mana available.

I chose Splinter Dagon because it allows you to choose another Splinter, which increases the possibilities on the field. In addition, the Dragon Splinter has many monsters with the Flying ability, which is useful in the Earthquake ruleset. My Opponent also chose the Dragon Element, perhaps for fewer reasons.

Below is my line-up strategy:

	In second place I climbed GARGOYA LION, who has the skill Flying
	In the third position as a secondary tank, I chose DEMENTED SHARK, who has two useful skills for this Ruleset, Inspire and Thorns.
	In the next position is DRAGON JUMPER, which has the ability to fly, Opportunity and Snare, the latter of which removes the Flying ability of the damaged opponent's monster.
	In the next position, I deployed PELACOR BANDIT, which has the Sneak skill, to attack the last position, as well as having the Flying ability.
	In the last position I drew a discard card.

Note that most of my monsters have the Flying ability, so they don't take damage from Ruleset Earthquake every round. My opponent used a very similar strategy, but as long as my summoner reduces the Melee damage, it slows down our team.

In the first round our discard cards did their job and the opponent wasted a few attacks. My opponent also lost his discard card in the last position.

In Round 2, my opponent lost his Dagron Jumper. He also chose this monster to be part of his line-up, which by the way is the monster on the field, according to the current battle rules.

In the next round, DEMENTED SHARK was defeated and our team lost the melee damage boost it provided. But it was enough to defeat his tank and now the opponent only has one monster on the field.

Ruleset Up Close and Personal is a restrictive type, but having only melee damage monsters on the field makes the battle more interesting. Using various offensive and defensive strategies at the same time.

Mais uma semana se passou estamos de volta para mais uma Battle Mage Secrets, um desafio semanal onde vários jogadores compartilham suas estratégias mediante um Conjunto de Regras e do historico de batalhas do adversário.

O Ruleset Up Close and Personal restringi a batalha a apenas monstros de dano Melee. Nessa situação é favorável escolher monstros com bastante Armadura, com a Habilidade Thorns e Shield. Além disso, escolher invocadores com aumento ou redução de ataque Melee.

A batalha aconteceu na Liga Ouro, no modo Morden, e contou com o seguinte Conjunto de Regras: Aim True, Up Close and Personal e Earthquake. Além disso, os elementos Água, Terra e Dagrão estavam disponíveis e havia apenas 26 de mana disponível.

Eu escolhi o Splinter Dagrão, pois ele permite escolher um outro Splinter adcional, o que dar aumenta as possibilidades em campo. Além disso, o Splinter Dagrão possui muitos monstros com a habilidade Flying, que é util na Ruleset Earthquake. Meu Oponente também escolheu o Elemento Dragão, talvez pelos menos motivos.

Abaixo segue minha estratégia de escalação:

	Na posição seguinte escalei PELACOR BANDIT, que possui a habilidade Sneak, para atacar a última posição, além de possuir a habilidade Flying.
	Na última posição escalei uma carta de descarte.

Observe que a maioria dos meus monstros possuem a habilidade Flying, para que eles não recebem dano do Ruleset Earthquake, a cada rodada. Meu oponente utilizou uma estratégia bastante semelhante, porém enquanto meu invocador reduzir o dano Melee e o dele deixa o nosso time mais lento.

Na primeira rodada nossas cartas de descartes cumpriram o seu papel e o oponente disperdiçou alguns ataques. Meu oponente também perdeu sua carta de descarte na última posição.

Na segunda Rodada, meu oponente perdeu seu Dagron Jumper. Ele também escolheu esse monstros para fazer parte de sua escalação, que por sinal é o monstro em campo, pelas regras de batalahas vigentes.

Na próxima rodada, DEMENTED SHARK foi derrotado e nosso time perdeu o aumento de dano melee proporcionado por ele. Mas, foi o suficiente para derrota seu tanque e agora o oponente possui apenas um monstro em campo.

O Ruleset Up Close and Personal é do tipo restritivo, mas possui somente monstros de dano Melee em campo faz com que o batalha se torne mais interessante. Utilizando várias estratégias tanto de ofensivas e defensivas ao mesmo tempo.
