Hello, Splinters Fanatics!

Another week has passed and we're back for another Battle Mage Secrets. This week the Ruleset to be analyzed is Unprotected which will be the focus of this post.

Unprotected
It nullifies the armor of all monsters and it is not possible to acquire armor from the Summoner or monsters with the Protected ability..

Unprotected is a ruleset that removes all armor from all units on the battlefield. In addition, it prohibits all units from obtaining or gaining armor through the Summoner or Protected ability of any monster on the field.

With all the monsters unprotected, the best strategy is to bet on speed, because whoever attacks first has the best chance of winning. So bet on Summoners and Monsters that increase speed or give the opponent a speed debuff, with the Swiftness and Slow abilities.

Another possibility is to use monsters with the ability Taunt, which have a lot of Health, attracting all attacks to themselves. In this way, you can protect other units that don't have armor protection.

Nothing better than a battle to put into practice the concepts and strategies presented so far!

The battle took place in the Silver League, in Morden mode, and featured the following Rule Set: Unprotected and Heavy Hitters. In addition, Earth and Death Splinters were available and there was only 15 mana available.

Splinter Earth is slower than Splinter Death, and with little mana available it's difficult to put together a strategy. It's not advisable to use just one monster, and if you spray on several monsters with low attack and health stats, it's not a good option either.

I used the Earth Splinter's Soulbond Summoner, LOBB LOWLAND, to be able to scale the Gladius monster KATRELBA GOBSON, which in this situation has the advantage of no armor. However, she's also an easy target because she's low on health. My opponent chose Splinter Death with Summoner THADDIUS BROOD.

Below is my line-up strategy:

CARD	STRATEGY
	In the first position I chose FUNGUS FLINGER, because it has the ability Blind, which increases the probability of the opponent missing melee and ranged attacks. He also has the ability Martyr, which increases all the stats of adjacent monsters.
	In second position I chose KATRELBA GOBSON, with its Double Strike attack and no armor this monster is likely to activate the ability Bloodlust several times.
	In third place I drew FUNGUS FIEND as a discard card.

Both the Earth and Death Splinter monsters have low health in general, but I consider the Earth Splinter to have slower monsters. Our opponent rostered monsters that have reasonable rear damage but low health. Since KATRELBA GOBSON has the Sneak ability, she will destroy all these defenseless units.

However, the enemy tank CURSED WINDEKU has a lot of health and its Thorns ability will be a big problem for our team, that is to say for KATRELBA GOBSON.

Going into Round 2, KATRELBA GOBSON had defeated all the monsters in the opponent's rearguard. When Bloodlust is activated several times, it's difficult for the opponent to change the outcome of the match. Even so, we have a great opponent, who in my opinion is one of the best rare tanks in the Chaos Legion edition.

In the end, the great power of KATRELBA GOBSON ensured victory for our team. And note that the strategy of increasing speed was used, since the Bloodlust skill increases all the gladiator's stats.

The Unprotected ruleset is a ruleset that leaves all monsters unarmored and defenseless. So in this post we're betting on monsters that have or gain high speed. If you've made it this far, you'll have understood the strategy.

Mais uma semana se passou estamos de volta para outro Battle Mage Secrets. Essa semana o Ruleset a ser analisado é Unprotected que será o foco deste post.

Unprotected
Anula a armadura de todos os monstros e não é possível adquirir armaduras do Invocador ou monstros com a habilidade Protected.

Unprotected é um Ruleset que remove toda a armadura de todas as unidades no campo de batalha. Além disso, proíbe todas as unidades de obter ou ganhar armaduras, através do Invocador ou habilidade Protected de algum monstro em campo.

Com todos os monstros sem proteção a melhor estratégia é apostar na velocidade, pois quem ataca primeiro tem mais chances de sair vitorioso. Então, apostar em Invocadores e Monstros que aumentam a velocidade ou que dão debuff de velocidade no oponente, com as habilidade Swiftness e Slow.

Outra possibilidade é utilizar monstros com a habilidade Taunt, que possuem bastante Saúde, atraindo todos os ataques para si. Dessa forma, pode-se proteger as demais unidades que não possuem proteção de armadura.

Nada melhor do que uma batalha para colocar em prática os conceitos e estratégias apresentados até aqui!

A batalha aconteceu na Liga Prata, no modo Morden, e contou com o seguinte Conjunto de Regras: Unprotected e Heavy Hitters. Além disso, os Splinters Terra e Morte estavam disponíveis e havia apenas 15 de mana disponível.

O splinter Terra é mais lento do que o Splinter Morte, e com pouca mana disponível é díficil montar um estratégia. Pois, é preciso pensar bastante quais os monstros escalar, não é aconselhável utilizar apenas um monstros e caso pulverize em vários monstros com baixas estatisticas de ataque e saúde, também não é uma boa opção.

Eu utilizei o Invocador Soulbond do Splinter de Terra, LOBB LOWLAND, para pode escalar o monstro Gladius KATRELBA GOBSON, que nessa situação possui a vantagem de não haver armadura. Porém, ela também é um alvo fácil, pois possui pouca saúde. Já meu oponente escolheu o Splinter Morte com o Invocador THADDIUS BROOD.

Abaixo segue minha estratégia de escalação:

	Na primeira posição escalei FUNGUS FLINGER, pois ele possui a habilidade Blind, que aumenta a probabilidade do oponente perder ataques melee e ranged. Além disso, ele possui a habilidade Martyr, que aumenta todas as estatisticas dos monstros adjancentes
	Na segunda posição escalei KATRELBA GOBSON, com seu ataque Double Strike e sem armadura esse monstro tem a probabilidade de ativar a habilidade Bloodlust várias vezes
	Na terceira posição escalei FUNGUS FIEND, como carta de descarte.

Venha Conferir a Batalha!

Tanto os monstros do Splinter de Terra quanto os de Morte possui pouca saúde, no geral, porém considero o Splinter Terra com monstro mais lentos. Nosso oponente escalou monstros que possui danos razoáveis na retaguarda, porém com baixa saúde. Como KATRELBA GOBSON possui a habilidade Sneak ela irá destroçar todos essas unidades indefesas.

Porém, o tanque inimigo CURSED WINDEKU possui bastante saúde e sua habilidade Thorns será um grande problema para nosso time, quer dizer para KATRELBA GOBSON.

Chegando na segunda Rodada, KATRELBA GOBSON derrotou todos os monstros da retaguarda adversária. Quando o Bloodlust é ativado várias vezes fica dificil para o oponente mudar o resultado da partida. Mesmo assim temos um grande adversário, que na minha opinião é um dos melhores tanques raros da edição Chaos Legion.

Em fim, pelo grande poder de KATRELBA GOBSON garantimos a vitória de nossa equipe. E perceba que a estratégia de aumentar a velocidade foi utilizada, uma vez que a habilidade Bloodlust aumenta todas as estatisticas dessa gladiadora.

O Ruleset Unprotected é uma Ruleset que deixa todos os monstros sem armadura e indefesos. Então, nesse post apostamos em monstros que possuem ou ganham alta velocidade. Se você chegou até aqui deve ter entendido a estratégia.
