[EN/PT] SHARE YOUR BATTLE: VENARI KNIFER

Hello Splinterlands community! Another week has passed and we are here again with the Weekly Challenge as excited as ever.

This week the chosen card was the Venari Knifer, a deadly assassin, which belongs to the Chaos Legion expansion cards.

Venari Knifer

Being a common Earth Splinter card, it has great attributes: (4) speed, (2) melee attack, (7) health and with Thorns ability, all this for only (6) mana and at the starting level (1).

For a common rarity card it has quite a generous firepower, but even having it in my deck it is little used by me. It is a card that I would use in battles with low mana, (12) for example, but in battles with a lot of mana I prefer to use other cards like the Unicorn Mustang that has the Void ability decreasing (-1) magic attack.

We can see more closely all the stats and ability of Venari Knifer in the following image, since the starting level it has the thorn ability, which gives (-2) when attacked by physical attack cards, and at level (6) this card wins the backfire ability, which gives (-2) if the enemy unit misses the attack.

This assassin can be used in battles with combat rules like super sneak, where she's perfect to stay in the last position dealing (-2) damage to every physical attack unit that hits her.

Super Sneak

in the Equal Opportunity combat rule, where all monsters have the opportunity ability, which attacks the lowest health monster. If Venari Knifer is the lowest health monster of the round, it will do a lot of damage to the enemy, especially if it has its two abilities (Thorns and Backfire).

Equal Opportunity

In my opinion, I think this card is misused, after all when we think of the Earth Splinter, the Summoner Obsidian comes to mind, which doesn't match the abilities of this card, maybe it makes more sense to use it with the Summoner Wizard of Eastwood, than giving ( -2) armor debuff to opponent, but I don't particularly like this last summoner very much.

Battle

The combat rule of our battle was precisely the super sneak and (38) mana cost, so I immediately thought of using the strategy described above. So here's our lineup:

Initially, I chose Oaken Behemoth, a powerful legendary card that can be used both as a main tank and as a secondary tank (in second position), since it has the Reach ability, which attacks from second position. In addition to having the Void Armor ability, where magic attacks first damage armor. In addition to all this, it still has a double attack (melee and magic).

Then I chose magic units, since the chosen summoner was Obsidian, in the second position was Regal Peryton. I like to put it in this position, because if my tank dies or the opponent has units with the snipe ability, this card has great speed and the fly ability, being able to dodge some attacks.

Soon after, comes our dynamic duo, Globlin Psychic and Wood Nymph, in order to constantly heal our tank and of course if the opponent uses healing we can also nullify the Goblin's Affliction ability.

Finally, we chose the Evening Star, Venari Knifer, as she has the Thorns ability to damage units that attack her and protect our rear from the Super Sneak combat rule. And not least we also climbed Creeping Ooze, as we had (1) mana left and it would give our enemy (-1) speed.

Our opponent chose the Water Splinter with Summoner Kelya Frendul looking for speed and unit protection, but we have the advantage as we chose mostly magic units to get through their armor and we still managed to initially nullify their (+1) speed buff. [PT] COMPARTILHE SUAS BATALHAS: VENARI KNIFER

Olá comunidade Splinterlands! Mais uma semana se passou e estamos aqui de novo com o Desafio Semanal animados como sempre.

Essa semana a carta escolhida foi a Venari Knifer uma assassina mortal, que pertence as cartas da expansão do Chaos Legion.

Venari Knifer

Sendo uma carta comum do Splinter da Terra possui ótimos atributos: (4) de velocidade, (2) de ataque corpo a corpo, (7) de vida e com habilidade Thorns, isso tudo por apenas (6) de mana e no nível inicial (1).

Para uma carta de raridade comum ela tem um poder de fogo bastante generoso, mas mesmo a possuindo em meu baralho ela é pouco utilizada por mim. Ela é uma carta que usaria em batalhas com pouca mana, (12) por exemplo, mas em batalhas com bastante mana prefiro utilizar outras cartas como o Unicorn Mustang que possui a habilidade Void diminuindo (-1) de ataque mágico.

Podemos ver mais de perto todas as estatísticas e habilidade da Venari Knifer na imagem a seguir, desde o nível inicial possui a habilidade espinho, que dar (-2) quando atacada por cartas de ataque físico, e no nível (6) essa carta ganha a habilidade backfire, que dar (-2) caso a unidade inimiga erre o ataque.

Essa assassina pode ser utilizada em batalhas com regras de combate como super sneak, onde ela é perfeita para ficar na última posição dando dano de (-2) a toda unidade de ataque físico que lhe acertar.

Super Sneak

Também é ótima para ser utilizada na regra de combate Equal Opportunity, onde todos os monstros tem a habilidade opportunity, que ataca o monstro de menor vida. Caso a Venari Knifer seja o monstro de menor vida da rodada ela dará muito dano ao inimigo, principalmente se tiver com as suas duas habilidade (Thorns e Backfire)

Equal Opportunity

Na minha opinião acho que esta carta é mal aproveitada, afinal quando pensamos no Splinter de Terra vem logo em mente o Summoner Obsidian, que não combina com as habilidades dessa carta, talvez faça mais sentido utilizar com o Summoner Wizard of Eastwood, que dar (-2) de debuff de armadura ao adversário, mas particularmente não gosto muito deste último summoner.

A Batalha

A regra de combate de nossa batalha foi justamente o super sneak e (38) de custo de mana, logo de imediato pensei em utilizar a estratégia descrita anteriormente. Então vamos a nossa escalação:

Inicialmente, escolhi Oaken Behemoth uma poderosa carta lendária que pode ser utilizada tanto como tanque principal como também como tanque secundário (na segunda posição), uma vez que ele possui a habilidade Reach, que ataca da segunda posição. Além de possui a habilidade Void Armor, onde ataques mágicos danificam primeiro a armadura. Além de tudo isso ainda possui ataque duplo (corpo a corpo e mágico).

Depois escolhi unidades mágicas, uma vez que o summoner escolhido foi Obsidian, na segunda posição ficou Regal Peryton. Eu gosto de colocá-lo nesta posição, pois caso o meu tanque morra ou o adversário possui unidades com a habilidade snipe essa carta tem uma ótima velocidade e a habilidade fly podendo esquivar de alguns ataques.

Logo em seguida, vem a nossa dupla dinâmica, Globlin Psychic e Wood Nymph, a fim de cura constantemente nosso tanque e claro se o adversário utilizar cura também podemos anular com habilidade Affliction do Goblin.

Por fim, escolhemos a estrela da noite, Venari Knifer, já que ela tem a habilidade Thorns para dar danos as unidades que a atacarem e proteger nossa retaguarda da regra de combate Super Sneak. E não menos importante também escalamos Creeping Ooze, pois havia sobrado (1) de mana e ele dar (-1) de velocidade a nosso inimigo.

Nosso adversário escolheu o Splinter de água com o summoner Kelya Frendul buscando velocidade e proteção das unidades, mas estamos na vantagem pois escolhemos unidades em sua maioria mágica para atravessar suas armaduras e ainda conseguimos inicialmente anular seu buff de (+1) de velocidade.
