[PT/EN] Share Your Battle! MYCELIC INFANTRY
Hello, Splinter Fanatics! 😍
We're back for another Weekly Challenge of the best #Play2earn out there @splinterlands. 😁 And this challenge will be about an Earth Splinter card, which is a real woman to support melee and ranged attack.
The star of today's post is Mycelic Infantry is a rare card from the Chaos Legion edition, which in the initial level has (3) melee attack, (1) speed, (7) health and (3) armor, in addition to the Shield ability. All these attributes for only (8) mana cost.
As can be seen in the image below, Mycelic Infantry is a slow card with only (1) speed at all levels, but in the Reverse Speed rule the situation changes. At level 5, this card gains the Giant Killer ability and at most the Enrage ability.
| Reduces melee and ranged attack. |
| Doubles damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana. |
| Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged. |
Fire Splinter's Mycelic Infantry and Lava Living are two similar cards that share the same melee attack, slow speed, and Shield ability. However, as these cards level up, Living Lava's ability set certainly makes it stronger than Mycelic Infantry. The Untamed edition has incredibly powerful monsters and summoners.
Below are the strengths and weaknesses of Mycelic Infantry, as well as the combat rules that benefit this card.
Strengths: It is an excellent tank to hold melee and ranged attacks, as it has a lot of life and a little armor and of course it has the Shield ability.
Weakness: It's a slow card, its biggest point is against magic attack monsters
Best Summoners: They are the ones that increase your physical attack, but in Earth Splinter we don't have Summoners with this characteristic. So, you can use Dagrão's Splinter with summoner Daria Dragonscale.
Combat Rules: Below are some combat rules, which benefit or not this card.
Reverse Speed: A large portion of Chaos Legions Edition cards are slow and this rule is beneficial for these cards making them attack first and increase their chances of dodging melee and ranged attacks.
Up Close and Personal: In this game, only melee attack monsters are allowed, so as our star has the Shield ability, it stands out from the other monsters.
Unprotected: All units lose their armor, for Mycelic Infantry this is a bit bad.
Most cards are at affordable prices due to the low period we are going through. And the cheapest collection is precisely the Chaos Legion, of course after the Rewards cards. This is due to the number of cards in circulation which is a prime factor in determining the value of a card.
But, luckily for us, Packs Chaos Legions are being burned which will generate a shortage of these cards in the long term and who knows in the future the prices of these cards will start to increase in value. So a piece of advice I give if you believe in Splinterlands, "draw as many cards as you can".
As I write this post, Mycelic Infantry is quoted in its regular version $0.13 and its gold foil version $1.74. The charts below show prices for the last 180 days, respectively, in blue (regular version) and yellow (Gold Foil).
On a scale of 0 to 10 I give a 7 for this card, its strengths are its attack power, its health and its ability set, but its biggest weakness is its speed.
Our battle took place in Wild mode in the Silver league under the following fighting rules listed below.
With these combat rules and Splinter available, I chose to choose the Earth Splinter, and as our enemy had the frequency of choosing the Life Splinter with the Summoner General Sloan.
So, the summoner chosen was Obisidian who gave (+1) magic attack. And our opponent chose the summoner we were predicting.
Below is our escalation strategy:
 | In the first position, the star of this post was chosen, because with his ability and Shield and his high health and armor, he will last a long time against enemy attacks. |
 | Then Goblin Psychic was cast to support healing our tank. |
 | Elven Mystic was ranked third, it is a card with only (1) magic attack, but with the ability to reduce the enemy's magic attacks, if any. |
 | Finally, we set Furious Chicken as a discard card. |
After the Summoners' buffs, the battle is started and the show of ranged attacks rained down on our field, luckily Mycelic withstood them all. All of the opponent's Attacks were directed at her.
As our opponent has a card with the ability Opportunity we lose our discard chicken. And our opponent also lost his discard card Soul Field.
In the second round, Pelacor Conjurer ended up doing some damage to our magic units with his ability Magic Reflect, so we lost Globin Psychic which healed our tank.
Are we able to win this battle? Since our opponent has many powerful cards on fields.
This battle was truly amazing as Mycelic Infantry showed its true utility: resisting melee and ranged attacks. And he managed to fulfill this purpose in this battle.
Therefore, in this post analyzing the main positives and negatives of Mycelic Infantry a card to be used as a tank in most battles. And with a powerful melee attack, in addition to its health and armor that together with Shield makes this card last much longer on the field. Its biggest weakness is against magic attacks and it is a slow card.

A estrela do post de hoje é Mycelic Infantry é uma carta rara da edição Chaos Legion, que no nível inicial possui (3) de ataque melee, (1) de velocidade, (7) de saúde e (3) de armadura, além da habilidade Shield. Todos estes atributos por apenas (8) de custo de mana.
Como pode ser visto na imagem abaixo, Mycelic Infantry é uma carta lenta com apenas (1) de velocidade em todos os níveis, mas na regra Reverse Speed a situação muda de figura. No nível 5 esta carta ganha a habilidade Giant Killer e no máximo a habilidade Enrage.

Mycelic Infantry e Lava Living, do Splinter de Fogo, são duas cartas semelhantes que partilham de mesmo ataque melee, velocidade lenta, e habilidade Shield. Porém, a medida que essas cartas vão subindo de nível o conjunto de habilidade de Living Lava certamente a tornam mais forte que Mycelic Infantry. A edição Untamed possui monstros e invocadores incrivelmente podorosos.
A seguir são listado os pontos fortes e fracos do Mycelic Infantry, além das regras de combates que beneficiam esta carta.
Pontos Fortes: É um excelente tanque para segurar ataque corpo a corpo e a distância, pois possui bastante vida e um pouco de armadura e claro possui a habilidade Shield.
Fraqueza: É uma carta lenta, seu maior ponto é contra mosntro de ataque mágico
Melhores Invocadores: São os que aumentam seu ataque físico, porém no Splinter de Terra não temos Invocadores com essa caracteristica. Então, pode-se utilizar o Splinter de Dagrão com Daria Dragonscale.
Regras de Combates: A seguir são apresentadas algumas regras de combate, que beneficiam ou não esta carta.
Reverse Speed: Um grande parcela das cartas da Edição Chaos Legions são lentas e esta regra é benefica para estas cartas fazendo com que ataquem primeiro e aumentem sua chances de esquivar de ataques melee e ranged.
Up Close and Personal: Nesta partida são permitidos apenas monstros de ataque corpo a corpo, então como nossa estrela tem a habilidade Shield ela se sobressai dos demais mosntros.
Unprotected: Todas as unidades perdem suas armaduras, para Mycelic Infantry isso é um pouco ruim.
A maioria das cartas estão com preços acessíveis devido ao período de baixa que estamos passando. E a coleção mais barata é justamente a Caos Legion, é claro depois das cartas de Rewards. Isso devido ao número de cartas em circulação que é uma fator primodial para determinar o valor de uma carta.
Mas, para nossa sorte Packs Caos Legions estão sendo queimados o que vai gerar no longo prazo um escassez nesta cartas e quem sabe no futuro os preços dessas cartas comecem a valorizar. Então uma conselho que dou se você acretida em Splinterlands, "comprem cartas o máximo que puderem".
Neste momento em que escrevo este post, Mycelic Infantry está cotado em sua versão regular $0.13 e sua versão gold foil $1.74. Nos gráficos abaixo são mostrados os preços dos últimos 180 dias, respectivamente, em azul (versão regular) e amarelo (Gold Foil).

Nossa batalha aconteceu no modo Wild na liga Prata sobre as seguintes regras de combates listada abaixo.
Com esta regras de combates e Splinter disponíveis optei por escolher o Splinter de Terra, e como o nosso inimigo tinha a frequência de escolher o Splinter de Vida com o Invocador General Sloan.
Então, o invocador escolhido foi Obisidian que dar (+1) de ataque magico. E nosso oponente escolheu o invocador que estavamos prevendo.
Abaixo segue nossa estratégia de escalação:
| Na primeira posição foi escalado a estrela deste post, pois com sua habilidade e Shield e sua alta saúde e armadura irá durá bastante tempo contra os ataque inimigos.. |
| Em seguida foi escalado Goblin Psychic para dar suporte curando nosso tanque. |
| Na terceira posição foi escalado Elven Mystic, é uma carta com apenas (1) de ataque mágico, mas com a habilidade de reduzir os ataque mágicos do inimigo, se houver. |
| Por fim, escalamos Furious Chicken como carta de descarte. |
Após os buffs dos Invocadores, a batalha é iniciada e o show de ataques ranged choveram em nosso campo, felizmente Mycelic resistiu a todos eles. Todos os Ataques do oponente foram direcionados para ela.
Como nosso oponente tem uma carta com a habilidade Opportunity perdemos nossa galinha de descarte. E nosso oponente também perdeu sua carta de descarte Soul Field.
Na segunda rodada, Pelacor Conjurer acabou fazendo um estrago em nossas unidades mágica com sua habilidade Magic Reflect, então perdemos Globin Psychic que curava nosso tanque.
Será que temos condições de vencer está batalha? Uma vez que nosso oponente tem muitas cartas poderosas em campos.
Esta batalha foi realmente incrivel, pois Mycelic Infantry mostrou sua verdadeira utilidade: resistir a ataques corpo a corpo e ranged. E conseguiu compriu esta finalidade nesta batalha.
Portanto, neste post analisando os prinicipais pontos positivos e negativos de Mycelic Infantry uma carta para ser utilizada como tanque na maioria das batalhas. E com uma ataque melee pooderoso, além da sua saúde e armadura que em conjunto com Shield faz esta carta dura muito mais tempo em campo. Sua maior fraqueza são contra ataques mágico e é uma carta lenta.
