Which LVL 1 team to select for a Splinterlands 12-mana battle ?

I recommend the following Death one :

But why this one ?

. No purchase or rental is needed as these cards belong to the basic set.
. Thaddius Brood gives 2 penalties to the opposite team,
. Cursed windeku has a significant number of health points and takes valuable advantage of its throns ability,
. Undead badger acts as support as long as possible by targeting the last opponent.

Victory is not 100% guaranted but probability to win is quite satisfactory mainly due to the throns ability.

Try it if you are not convinced and do not hesitate to share your own experience.

It's a good choice if your opponent only have the basic set, but beware as it loses to Mylor + Mycelic Morpjoid + Mycelic Infantry

Thanks for sharing your experience.
I did not know Mylor as I am a relatively new player. I just had a look at his card and well this is an interesting one indeed with the thorns ability given to any team member. Seems to be effectively a good choice to be considered as a second step for new players to improve their earth cards set.
