Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Grund

Each week i will feature a different Monster + Ability with a Battle. This week i am featuring the monster known as Grund! I was originally writing this for this week's battle challenge but i missed the deadline due to lack of resource credits so i thought i should post it here rather than wasting a god post.
Grund is an excellent Epic Earth monster as he has the amazingly effective Double Strike ability which i really love and his stats are also pretty impressive. With all this going for him he could easily be mistaken for a Legendary!
Grund is great in almost any situation but he can be used to great effect in the Melee Mayhem rule set.
Grund has spent his entire life in the lowlands of Praetoria and has grown to love the land and its people. First introduced to the lore of battle as a hatchling, he has studied it ever since with enthusiasm. When he became a juvenile his hands found steel, an old rusting sword abandoned and forgotten in the swamp by some intrepid explorer. Before long it became an extension of himself as he applied all he had learnt, quickly mastering blade work. From then on, he became obsessed with the art of armed combat and he practised with any weapons he could get his hands on.
This is an amazing ability and is very effective in many types of battles.
As you can see below his stats are amazing especially at top level when he becomes an unstoppable killing machine.
Battle Info
This is a 99 mana level battle with all Splinters allowed except Water + Death.
I have 6 cards in this battle against 6!
Earth vs Life
Ruleset = Silenced Summoners - Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
This is a great summoner but due to the ruleset i wont be able to benefit from its usual +1 Magic buff
Grund will be my tank for this battle and with his Double Strike ability he is sure to do some damage.
The psychic is here to provide healing support for Grund with the Tank Heal ability.
The sexy nymph is also here to provide healing support for Grund with the Tank Heal ability. This will make him very hard to kill.
This monster is here to provide strong magic attack support.
The spirit will provide ranged attsck from the rear. With 6 speed and the Flying ability this is another monster that is very hard to destroy.
This is one of my favourite monsters and with 12 health and the Heal ability he is another unbeatable death machine.
Round 1 begins with Wood Nymph landing the first killing blow to the enemies tank Shieldbearer! Off to a good start.
In round 2 the enemies Supply Runner monster takes out my Nerissa Tridawn.
I quickly retaliate as Grund destroys Luminous Eagle and also Gargoya Devil in the same turn using the Double Strike ability.
Round 3 kicks off with Cornealus wiping out the Supply Runner.
The battle is over when Grund obliterates the last two enemy monsters with the Double Strike ability.
I loved this battle and enjoyed reviewing it. I will definitely use the same line up and strategy again.
