@gtg, have you considered using auto voter instead of sitting on all that VP?Or perhaps delegation? I could really use one of the 2. I am a fulltime steemian mostly focused on dtube, steemhunt & steempress. I know we are not acquainted (yet), but would you please put me into consideration?

Yes, but I'm not a fan of either. Both leads to abuse in a long run. That's why I'm one of those very few users who are not selling Votes or Steem Power.
In the end it's not that bad with my VP. It's not that idle as it might seem, and I'm working to improve this.
As for voting patterns, taking into account last 7 days (that from @steemchiller's SteemWorld,

5 most voted authors (last week) by you:

100 upvotes to 80 accounts, 0.21% was self-votes
5 most voted authors (last week) by me
Your voting pattern is more concentrated (fewer frequently voted authors) and more selfish (over 10% votes to yourself ). Another thing is that I use my votes for flagging, from time to time.
But ...
to give you a chance, I can setup a wise rule for you, so you could use equivalent of my 100% vote each day for a week. The only catch here is that the rules wouldn't be easy to met.

WOW. Okay, First of all, Thank you for a Very Detailed feedback. In all honesty I hadn't looked at the stats on steemworld, I just stumbled on your blog and decided to reach out when I saw your VP just sitting at 100%, my bad.
I'm speechless, I never thought of self support as selfish, personally I see it as tapping oneself on the back for all the work I put in. You don't create as much, you probably would be around the same percent if you did, No? I see plenty of Whales upvotong each of their own post and that's fine with me cause at the end of the day they are supporting other creators as well.

Selfish is fine. I'm not saying that I'm not selfish, I'm just saying that stats shows that you are more(*). I just used same measures I use for curators that I chose to support.
Whales use their own SP for their own profit, you are asking to use mine for your own profit.
Why would I do that?
The only reason I could see here is to help reward original, high quality content creators via curation efforts. It would be good for the platform, so it would good for me.
(*) Given that particular data set and measurement methodology.

(I was going to set this earlier, but I had some troubles with wise, it's still developed so you need to have quite a lot of patience with it ;-) )

You are allowed to use my up to 25% upvote for a post, up to a total 100% vote equivalent per day, as long as I have more than 80% Voting Power left. I never go below that point so that part should be easy, especially that among all rules I've set in wise, you are the only one who can make me go below 90%.
Above means that for example it is possible to use 4x 25% votes or 10x 10%
Now the more difficult part.
I would like curators to discover original, high quality content that wouldn't be found otherwise. Undiscovered authors, undervalued posts.
Such post should be older than 15 minutes for optimal curation, but no older than 2 days (48 hours). It should have less than 50 votes and less than 10 SBD potential payout at the time of voting (again: undiscovered, undervalued).
Few top voted authors are excluded.
End date is set to 4th May, 12:00 UTC, so it is a little bit more than a week, but I'm aware that you need to get familiar with voting using wise.vote. Please let the @wise-team know if you experience any issues with that.

I've been familiarizing with the wise.vote website,to be honest I hadn't heard of it prior to your engagement, it's pretty cool!
I would say those are very reasonable rules you've set, doable too. The only one I find a bit off is this
There are plenty of undervalued posts that have less than 10SBD payouts but you'll find the curation trails from the curators make the vote count go way up. Like a $4 post with over 200 votes.

That's the point - if there's curation trail already, then it's not undiscovered.
Making some notes from your journey would certainly help wise team to improve their project.
I've just doubled that vote limit (
50->100)(currently there might be some slight delays until my wise instance will catch up with current head block after maintenance - it's 2 hours late, but it should be in sync within 15-20 minutes)In sync now.

God, I was really excited about this wise.vote website @gtg, but it's been 2 days now that I haven't managed to log back in. I've reached out to the team on steemchat with no avail yet. Not sure if they have a discord channel, do they?

I'm sorry for your inconvenience, wise.vote definitely need to work on reliability. As you can see on their Steem.Chat channel I was having some serious issues while settings that delegation to you. Hopefully, the more people will use service, the more bugs will be discovered and fixed. I still believe that they can make a difference.

Gtg is a top witness. The top 5 people he votes have a couple million SP together and SP is what moves you up the witness ladder.
The top 5 people you vote have 60k SP all together.
Dont let others call you selfish based on stats because stats can be explained in any what way.
Just like @gtg called you selfish i could say he generally votes high SP holders so they can vote him up as a witness.

Maybe Steeming for a living should be backed up with working for a living too? It’s what most of us do. Again, no idea why “steeming for a living” was your basis here for anything.

I believe the first time I commented on your post was to try to help you with the confusion with the Steem Alliance group, where I linked you some videos I thought may help and tried to correct a comment claiming it was “government”.. where I was essentially told to shut up.
So, again.. this is me stating I meant no offense.. I was just taken aback by the comment. Then butterfly came in to make things worse. In his defense, he was trying to “defend” a friend I guess, but i was not attacking. So I apologize for inability to ignore him.. it’s a bad habit of mine I’m working on. Except that it would be a lie, that can be easily debunked by data written on the blockchain.
2/5 are not voting for me, including the most voted one which is a non-profit curation initiative.
That "couple million SP together" comes from one guy, or rather his proxy votes, but I don't think he cares about my votes much.
All those contribute a lot to the platform, and there are plenty more people that I should vote their content for if I would like to earn witness votes that way.
TL;DR: Voting for me as a witness is irrelevant.
(by the way, I just set wise.vote rules for @elsiekjay, feel free to help her finding relevant content)

It was a wow at pure amazement directed at the attempt to come to someone’s blog and ask for them to put you on auto voter or give you delegation as you feel you deserve it. I am with you @llfarms on this one.. you got tagged so of course you have an opinion on it getting driven to this comment. Just as I landed here somehow.
Of course it is brave to ask @gtg something like this but seeing his answer showing your voting behavior @elsiekjay I seriously doubt you know how to use it better then he does for the community.
Nevertheless I think it is great @gtg is even considering this and maybe you can prove us wrong and learn to be a better curator changing your voting behavior according to his rules, which would be a great outcome for everybody.
No reason to pick on @llfarms though. I dont know your guys history here and I really dont want to know, but I know she's done A LOT for this community working hard, so show a little respect for that.
