Weekly Battle Challenge: Centaur

Greetings fellow players on the Splinterlands!

With the weekly battle challenge, I wanted to bring a little something to the community. I will share my battle challenge using the featured theme of using the card Centaur. It is just a general strategy post of what I usually play and used the card. I mostly play with ranged type cards particularly in the Fire type, Earth type, and Neutral type where Centaur is one of the cards that I always rent. In the video, the level of the cards are particular to the silver league because I was grinding my way up from Silver 3 until I’ve reached the Gold 3 rating.

• Placement: I always place Centaur in the middle so that once the tank and the followed monster dies, it will serve as a temporary tank to help the backline damages for not dying immediately.

• “Extra health means more chance of surviving and winning.” That is one of the importance of how I usually play the game.

With the help of the summoners Yodin Zaku and Prince Rennyn with their additional health, range damage, and other ability, it will give a high chance of winning. Together with the Lord of Fire in the Fire type where it gives additional health to allies and decreases the magic damage when I encounter enemies with magic mains and Failed summoner in the Earth type where it serves as a tank for reflecting some magic attacks, that is a big help. Also, the medium to bigger sized health and damage cards, I usually placed in the back because typically, with the sneak and snipe abilities, they usually attack the backline and as much as possible, I don’t want them to die immediately.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

There is a 75% of winning when I do the usual strategy of mine. I sometimes lost to enemies that counters with ranged type cards but overall, it is an experience where you could strategize again especially with the new released cards from the chaos legion packs. Also, with different rulesets given in the game, you can predict if there is a chance that you will win or lost.

DO YOU LIKE USING CENTAUR?

I definitely like using Centaur because as I’ve said earlier, it is one of the cards that I always rent and without it, some of the strategies that I’ve been using while playing the game will not happen leading for me to lost some battles. Some may say that it seems to fall short, and they hate the card, when all they need to do is learn how to use it right.
