Share You Battle Challenge! | SHADOW SNITCH
Greetings to all the members of the Hive Blockchain Community.
Another opportunity has been given by the Splinterlands team to showcase different strategies by the Splinterlands players for a featured monster. This time, the featured monster to be used is Shadow Snitch, a Dark Attribute monster from the latest edition pack which is the Chaos Legion.
Shadow Snitch can be summoned with 4 mana and it is positioned to the second spot of battle formation due to its Reach ability. Because I'm currently in the Diamond League, I rented a max level for the battles. It has a stats of 3 melee damage, 7 health, and 4 speed. It has a reach ability from the starting level, Affliction ability in the sixth level, and Dodge ability in the max level which makes is a good reserve tank after the tank is eliminated.

In this battle, the ruleset is Explosive Weaponry within the 28 mana capacity. I choose Zintar Mortalis as summoner which reduces melee enemy damage by one as a debuff. For the first position, I choose Haunted Spirit as tank due to its healing ability and magic reflect ability. Second is the Shadow Snitch to utilize its reach ability causing poison damage to enemy monsters. Third position is for the Undead Priest which reduces the speed and health of the enemy by one. Fourth in the position is Grim Reaper serving as one of the main damagers in the battle. Fifth is Octopider for the high range damage as well as reducing the melee damage of enemy by one. Lastly is the Furious Chicken which serves as a backline sacrifice to protect the Octopider from immediate death.
Did My Strategy Work?
My strategy worked efficiently thanks to the melee damage reduction debuff of the Zintar Mortalis and Octopider. At the same time, with the blast ability given by the Explosive Weaponry Ruleset, my monsters immediately eliminated the enemy monsters with the highest health. Also, I have an advantage in terms of damage due to the enemy choosing to go all out in melee damage attack that has been debuff by my monsters that resulted in my win in just two rounds.
Do You Like Using The Shadow Snitch?
I certainly like to use the Shadow Snitch especially in low mana battles and Little League ruleset when its potential if fully utilize same with the high mana battles. Because it is always in the second position in battles, with a proper strategy, the poison damage caused by its ability will be a lethal death to enemy monsters.
