The excitement and perhaps enticement of the unknown but hoped for. You mention concerns about getting lucky. I would wonder how much is really luck and how much is just fate or strategic planning...or a combination there of.

You are right that there is strategic planning, though I am not very good at the tactical side these days. I used to be better.
