Good morning, afternoon or evening, welcome to my post. This time I bring you a fan art of a card that has allowed me to be victorious in most of the Splinterlands battles. I decided to go out to the hunt for the lore of Cornealus and my surprise was that little information is found in the texts about this strange and dangerous neutral Splinter.
Join me as I show the illustration and what I discovered walking around the Splinterlands.

Buenos días, tardes o noches, bienvenidos a mi post. En esta ocasión les traigo un fan art de una carta que me ha permitido en la mayoría de las ocasiones salir victorioso en las batallas de Splinterlands. Decidí salir a la cacería sobre el lore de Cornealus, mi sorpresa fue que poca información se consigue en los textos sobre este extraño y peligroso splinter neutral.

Acompáñenme mientras muestro la ilustración y lo que descubrí andando por las tierras de Splinterlands.

I started with an ocher background and made the sketches with red, this happened once I followed Cornelius's trail. Something that doesn't surprise me is that being a neutral Splinter, and that they are found regardless of the element, they can be get in all the lands of Splinterlands.

Comencé con un fondo color ocre y realicé los bocetos con color rojo, esto una vez que seguí el rastro de Cornelius. Algo que no me extrañó es que al ser un Splinter neutral, y es que se encuentra sin importar el elemento, ellos se pueden conseguir en todas las tierras de Splinterlands.

I had the unique opportunity to see several of them on a marshy edge. So after making the sketch I dedicated myself to the stains that would be the starting point for this graphic record. The origin of Cornelius is not known for sure, however the magic that it contains is immense. The regulation capacity and the life within this Splinter is incredible.

Tuve la oportunidad única de ver varios de ellos en un borde pantanoso. Así después de realizar el boceto me dediqué a las manchas que serían el punto de partida para este registro gráfico. No se sabe a ciencia cierta el origen de Cornelius, sin embargo, la magia que contiene es inmensa. La capacidad de regulación y la vida dentro de este Splinter es increíble.

After marking the 9 specimens that I found, I dedicated myself to staining the bottom that would shape the swampy area. The levels of these varied, and I observed the weakest in terms of skills to even those who are more experienced with the ability to damage. Those who have the audacity to hit them melee to the ability to reflect part of the damage received.

Después de marcar los 9 espécimen que encontré, me dediqué a realizar el manchado del fondo que iría dando forma a la zona pantanosa. Los niveles de éstos variaban y observé desde los más débiles en cuanto a habilidades hasta incluso los más experimentados con la capacidad de dañar. Aquellos que tiene la osadía de golpearlos cuerpo a cuerpo a la habilidad de reflejar parte del daño recibido.

A glow surrounds them. An undoubted sample of the magical power they possess. Power that allows them to float, the same magic that allows them to make powerful attacks from a distance. En ocasiones no es necesario porque su agilidad hace que contra Cornealus fallen y aun si aciertas, es posible que la vida tan elevada de Cornelialus su capacidad de regeneración sobrepase tu fatiga en batalla.

Taking a closer look at Cornealus, it is detailed that the sclera is full of blood vessels. Do not skimp on detailing them due to their importance in its anatomy. These blood vessels keep them hydrated and shiny. Their size explains the ability to see anything in any direction at great distances, which makes their attack very accurate.

Viendo más de cerca de Cornealus se detalla que la esclerótica está llena de vasos sanguíneos. No escatimé en detallarlos por la importancia de éstos en su anatomía. Estos vasos sanguíneos los mantiene hidratados y brillantes. Su tamaño explica la capacidad de ver cualquier cosa en cualquier dirección a grandes distancias, lo que hace que su ataque sea muy certero.

It is possible that Cornealus belonged to some species that disappeared eons ago, and it was lost in time outside the rigorous records of Splinterlands. We can imagine they were very powerful and their power, we can infer ended up protected in a single eye of each of those beings. Something is True, when tending to a summoner, a single eye can be a deadly splinter.

Es posible que Cornealus perteneciera a alguna especie que desapareció hace eones y perdida en el tiempo fuera de los registros rigurosos de Splinterlands.
