The LLAMA-KRON combo is making players crazy, especially in bronze league where beginners rent these two cards to climb up the leaderboard without having to worry too much about strategy. At the time of writing, this combinaison is worth around 1300$. What if I tell you that most decks can beat the LLAMA-KRON combo with way cheaper cards?

To be acurate, I have yet to find a way to beat the LLAMA-KRON combo with the DEATH and FIRE decks. But let's see how we can beat it with the others splinters.

The LLAMA-KRON combo costs 17 MANA to be played. With the LAST STAND buff, KRON has a total LIFE of 18, a magical attack of 5, regenerate 6 LIFE per round and remove all negative effects at the beginning of each round. All the strategies displayed below are based on a standard game of 17 MANA with bronze league conditions.

1 - With the LIFE splinter

The strategy here is to reduce the magic damage received by the CLAY GOLEM, Heal it with DIVINE HEALER, and ultimatly do 8 damages to KRON.

Important : DIVINE HEALER deals damages starting at LVL 3. KIARA LVL 2 required.

Average damages per round (counting the misses) : 7.2

2 - With the WATER splinter

No reduction of magical damages here, the strategy is to heal SEA MONSTER by 6 LIFE while KRON only deals 5 damages.

Important : CRUSTEAN KING deals damage starting at LVL 3. XIA LVL 2 required.

Average damages per round (counting the misses) : 7.2

3 - With the EARTH splinter

Exactly the same strategy than for the LIFE splinter here.

Important : UNICORN has to be LVL 3, making a XANDER LVL 2 mandatory.

Average damages per round (counting the misses) : 7

4 - With the DRAGON splinter

The strategy here is to double HEAL the SEA MONSTER while boosting ranged attacks. The most powerfull so far !

Average damages per round (counting the misses) : 8.2
