Splinterlands Weekly Challenge | "Shadow Snitch" and its usefulness in battle
Greetings to everyone in the community.
Culminating a great week again and this time as I have been doing all January, I come to present you my installment of the incredible splinterlands weekly challenge. For this week we were proposed to play with a card from the death sliver which is as you all know one of my favorites, the name of this card is Shadow Snitch, a very powerful element to put into practice in the battlefields of Splinterlands.
As always I hope you are pleased with my content and I hope you have had an excellent first month of the year, without further ado Let's go to battle in Splinterlands.
Highlights of "Wood Nymph".
As always, presenting you with the event's menu. In my opinion, it has a spectacular design, not for nothing is of the delivery Chaos Legion, which made many adjustments in the quality of the cards taking them to another level, this is the case of Shadow Snitch, an incredible card to deploy and get victories as long as we know how to use it, I got to play several battles with this one while I found one that in my opinion was worth bringing to the community.
In all of these, I discovered that this monster has very good utility on the battlefield which I will show you next, I promise you won't be disappointed.
My Battle
The most awaited moment for this type of post arrives, the incredible battle in which I bring out the unique characteristics of the monster. At the time of looking for the battle, seeing that I had so little mana, being only 17 points, I thought of a simple strategy, using certain effects in my favor and obviously the event card as an attacker in my offensive. The detail is that my opponent was playing cards with high life points, support, and an offensive in the rear, so I assumed that I would use this strategy again and I would use the splinter of earth, which in fact was the case.
With this clear, I opted to place one of my favorite tanks in the first position, to resist the blows a good amount of rounds, so that the power of Shadow Snitch and company were as effective as possible, which happened and the battle managed to decline completely to my victory.
My Battle Rules

Standard: This battle rule is the simplest and most basic of the whole game, where all kinds of abilities and cards can be used.
Alignment
Zintar Mortalis
For this battle, I could not choose a better summoner than this little wizard of the "Undead", a total shadowy presence but with some humor in the design, it is worth noting, because it is due solely and exclusively to his ability obviously. Because I expected my opponent to use melee attacks, Zintar Mortalis reduces the physical damage of all cards by -1 point, something that as we all know in a battle can cost you the victory very quietly..
Haunted Spirit
Dark entity and full of evil are the defining characteristics of this card. Previously I mentioned that I took one of my favorite monsters for the first position, I present to you Haunted Spirit an extremely powerful and resistant card thanks to its powerful characteristics and abilities. In its attack power, it has 2 points of physical damage and the same 2 in speed, it also has 8 points of life without any kind of shield. The strong point of this card lies in its ability Heal which heals it once per round when it is attacked.
Thanks to these abilities, this monster can withstand a considerable amount of rounds in battle, giving time to the other cards to act and form fairly solid damage..
Shadow Snitch
The long-awaited moment, we deployed on the battlefield the card of the event, with a dark attitude and overwhelming aura, this card was in charge of attacking with great force to the enemy lines, with only 1 point of physical attack and 2 of speed it uses its ability "Reach " to attack the monster in the first position with everything it has. In addition to this, it has 6 points of life, which makes it a considerably difficult card to kill, and in games with so little mana as this one, it is not expected monsters with much damage, so this can work as a trump card.
Furious Chicken
One of the cards that many underestimate in excess, but in my opinion has an incredible utility in battle, this monster has no attack, defense, or any support or offensive ability, it only has one point of life with which it dies immediately. Everyone will wonder why you use it, the answer is simple, it is perfect tallow to protect the card that comes after it because this is an important card in my position, this exotic chicken is responsible for increasing the chances of survival of a monster at least 1% which could be the difference between winning or losing.
Creeping Ooze
One of the main pieces of my strategy, is a ball of acidic evil that eats its enemies and is solely and exclusively supported in my strategy. Like Furious Chicken this monster has no attack and has only 1 point of life because I use it is thanks to its ability "Slow " which reduces the speed of all enemy cards on the battlefield, thanks to this logically my cards attack first, and I have more chances to win, this is a purely support monster. ***AND IT IS INCREDIBLE..
Twisted Jester
And to give the final detail to my formation, I present this evil harlequin with a smile and stunning figure, this is my only attack card in the rear and has a great utility. With considerable 5 health, 2 ranged attacks, and 3 speed, this monster eliminates the enemy ranks with great ease and cunning using his ability "Snipe " to reach the monsters that are behind the tank or card in the first position.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked wonderfully, I have absolutely no complaints, Shadow Snitch did his job excellently and effectively, defeating the enemies with ease and support of the cards that accompanied him to get the victory.
To try new things I would try to increase his attributes with cards that help him to increase damage, maybe life or speed.

Honestly, if I liked the letter, I consider that in this battle its full potential could be seen, in terms of design it is brutal, the utility is magnificent and it has many ways of being used.
For other occasions, I plan to develop more strategies in which I can use them more strongly.

This is an excellent battle, certainly at low levels the card is not as good. But you did a great job explaining your strategy. Also your format is impeccable.

Great Post! You used 2 of my favourite cards in the game (Haunted Spirit and Twisted Jester); I remember using both of them all the time when they were free to use!
Haunted Spirit is a incredibly strong tank due the Healing ability, and the Twisted Jester is one of the most mana-efficient cards of the game that he's almost broken: too much life, attack and speed for the mana cost.
Strong cards + nice strategy = win!
